Beavers, Cubs and Scout Groups for 6 - 14 year olds

To improve, protect and preserve wildlife at Lavell's Lake and surrounding area for the benefit of the public and to advance public education in the conservation of the countryside and wildlife, as well as engage and encouraging their involvement as volunteers in various ways.

The Association helps provide funds for Willow Bank School to provide both in school and after school activities for both parents and children.

The charity's prime objectives are: To assist all members of the Charity to exploit and develop their skills for appropriate employment.To provide a place where advice and peer support for its members on future employment.To provide relevant training for employment and in coping with the impact of unemployment, including CV writing, networking, interview coaching techniques.

The choir rehearses on a weekly basis and is constantly preparing for concerts and events. There is a calendar of events produced on a rolling basis at least one year in advance. Some concerts provide charitable donations.

Montessori Education, School Resources and Support, Educational Training programmes for teachers, parents, pupils and the wider community.

Fund-raising and community involvement

The Charity undertakes various fundraising and community events to advance the education of pupils in the school. Its aim is to develop more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school and to provide facilities, equipment or activities to advance the education of the pupils.

We raise money for the St. Sebastian's Church of England Primary School and Nursery in Wokingham, Berkshire. We do this through a series of yearly events including the Summer Fayre, Christmas Bazaar, Sponsored Walks, Auction Evening, Light Parties, Book Sales, Cake Sales and other events. We work closely with the St. Sebastian's Church and the local community.

Horticultral Therapy to people who have a learning disability. Encouraging self esteam and learning of skills for life and work.

The Charity owns a number of paintings, books, postcards and antique items of historical interest which all have a direct link with the Borough of Runnymede. Items are regularly displayed in the Chertsey Museum with the Literary items being stored at Royal Holloway College. The Charity looks to maintain and add to the Collections on a regular basis.

Sonning C of E Out of School Club provides wrap around childcare of the pupils of Sonning C Of E School

We provide a door to door minibus service for all members of the local community, to any destination of their choice. This service is especially helpful for elderly, infirm or disabled persons who are unable to use public transport, or public transport is not available.

Male Voice choir promoting public education in music by presentation of choral concerts, participation in music festivals etc. Assists members by furthering their knowledge of music, especially male chorus music. Provides practical encouragement to young musicians, both vocal and instrumental. Raises money for good causes through concerts.

Partnering with local organisations in the Reading area to help enhance publicly accessible (physical and virtual) spaces such as those associated with heritage sites, museums, libraries and other educational spaces and running a programme to increase the accessibility and learning potential of such facilities using IT.

Education - members of the institute work at a school emphasising a christian ethosSocial and pastoral - voluntary work in various locations including working with the homeless in the House of Mercy and counselling and other similar work in conjunction with another charity in Twickenham.

The object of the CIO is the advancing of arts and culture for public benefit to the residents of the Borough of Wokingham in particular but not exclusively by the creation of projects that support: (a) the enhancement of cultural identity and place-making (b) the advancement of opportunities for all people within arts and culture and (c) the promotion of access to arts and culture.

FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FOR CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO THE COOMBES CE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Kennet Opera is an amateur organisation which provides a vehicle through which members of the local community, of all ages, can experience all aspects involved in the staging and performing of classical opera, whilst helping to develop and support up-and-coming young professionals. We perform one staged opera per year in English with the aim of making opera accessible to a wider audience.
