Berkshire Record Society is an educational charity which promotes research into and the publication of historic records relating to the Royal County of Berkshire (including that part of the historic county transferred to Oxfordshire in 1974)

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF EMMBROOK SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY

Provides financial support for the pupils of Polehampton CE Junior School, Twyford, Berkshire by supporting trips/visits and resources that enrich the curriculum, particularly internal/external field studies.

To advance the education of the pupils of Bearwood Primary School, Sindlesham. The Charity achieves these objectives by raising funds through traditional methods such as fairs and sponsored activities and allocating these back to the school for expenditure on agreed items for the educational use of the pupils.

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL IN THAMES VALLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS

- Promote and raise awareness of disability in general- Engage Ethnic Minority communities for consultation on disability matters- Provide support for parents/carers- Inform, Educate and Support on disability matters- Help to improve services for the disabled by working with local authorities, government and other organisations.

To cultivate the Dramatic and Operatic Arts and improve and educate the public taste in those arts.By performing fully staged and orchestrated operas/operettas each year in the Windsor/Eton/Maidenhead area.

The principal activity of the Association during the year was the provision of funds for specialist equipment for Bishopswood Special School.

Management of the memorial ground in Woodley that was purchased in memory of those who had died in the First World War and for the use of future citizens of the town.

Fundraising for Kennel Lane School through Discos and Summer Fetes and requesting donations from corporates.

TO RAISE FUNDS TO PROVIDE THE CHILDREN OF LAMBS LANE PRIMARY SCHOOL WITH OPPORTUNITIES AND FACILITIES WHICH THE SCHOOL CAN'T AFFORD TO FUND FROM ITS OWN BUDGET.

VoxThrive uses the power of music to maintain young people's health and wellbeing throughout the Thames Valley. We put on workshops in partnership with other local youth organisations focussing on giving young people the tools to use creativity to help deal with life's challenges. These workshops could involve songwriting, confidence building, team work etc.

Driver Training

To date we have built 2 schools and an orphanage, we have also built land with the intention of building a second orphanage. We are now concentrating on child sponsorship to help with the upkeep of the orphanage and the support of 83 orphans. The Orphanage building requires maintenance and structural improvements to its foundation.

The object of the Association is to advance the education of the students in the College.

The PTA supports the school through fundraising activities and general aid to school events, and provides social events for parents.

The group aims to improve the protection of badgers across Berkshire by promoting awareness via newsletters, regular meetings, attendance at local events and giving talks in Berkshire and the surrounding area. The Group also monitors badger activity at a number of setts across Berkshire and liaises with Councils on any proposals which may have an impact on badgers and their habitat.
