Samaritans work in partnership with other Branches, NHS, Government, charities etc to see a reduction in the incidence of suicide & the means to suicide. Our vision is that fewer people die from suicide.We offer a volunteer-led 24 hour confidential emotional support via phone on 116123, text, email where we support those in distress, despair, who may have thoughts or intention of suicide

The main activities of the charity involve visiting schools, workplaces and community settings, providing social, emotional and Mental Health support and education. We run in house projects that develop knowledge and skills under the remits of health, education, arts and life skills.

The main object of the Gurdwara is to provide religious services to the congregation and its members.

A lecture programme on decorative and fine arts with relevant visits and study days for members and open to non-members. To support by distribution of income and the capital of the trust, if so desired, such charities and charitable causes as the trustees may decide. Preference is given to Jewish charities, including those in Israel and selected charities in and around Birmingham.

The charity continues to support local charities in the West Midlands area, specifically around mental health, end of life support, young people and homelessness.The trustees do not make grants for educational purposes.Applications are reviewed twice yearly, in February and August.

By our practise, promotion and study of music, often in association with other like minded bodies, we aim to foster public knowledge and appreciation of music by means of public performance. Such public performances enable us to raise funds which are then used to benefit local charities.

We act as a link between all the Companies and Battalions in our area and the Boys' Brigade National Headquarters.We also provide camping facilities at our Camping Centre in Dyffryn Ardudwy, Wales.We are also responsible for the National Boys' Brigade Memorial garden at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, Staffordshire.

We aim to serve people across a range of settings, taking an holistic and relational approach. We deliver a range of projects including detached youth work - including trips, visits and residentials, holiday provision, schools work and pastoral care, mentoring programmes, mental health schools programmes and centre-based youth work.
