The Trust's purpose is to facilitate the placement of young adult volunteers from Lichfield diocese into one of our companion link (overseas) dioceses, and vice versa. The placements will be in churches or church-associated projects and typically for 6 to 12 months. Execution of the programme is managed by the Diocesan St Chad's Volunteer Programme Director.

The Middle Community promotes greater harmony and tolerance in society by educating the public in different religious beliefs with a view to find common ground and promote good relations between persons of different faiths. It also acts for the relief of financial hardship and poverty by providing those in need with food and items which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.

We are a grant making trust. We focus on the prevention of suicide amongst ethnic minorities and mental health issues. We sponsor the Middlesex Girls Chess Championship under the aegis of Barnet Junior Chess.
