YOUTH SERVICES

Scouting has been in existence for 100 years and St Michaels was the first Scout Group within the Stourport area. The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people (aged 6 to 14) in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

- Develop relationships with staff, parents and others associated with the school- Organise activities to advance the education of the pupils- Provide and assist in the provision of facilities and items for education not provided by statutory funds

Provision of Scouting activities for young people aged 6 - 14

Beavers, Cub Scouts And Scouts

BTBAB provides Christians with an opportunity to go to the developing world serving alongside the poor using their skills. We invest in educational projects - that empower a person with skills or tools that enable them to be self-productive and long-term projects that transforms communities and reverse poverty, bringing skills and employment on a large scale that lasts for a minimum of 10yrs.

Conduct sales of pre-owned uniform to parents of the school as a means of raising funds. Liaise with parents and school to ensure that funds raised are spent in line with the objects of the association.

Providing sporting activities and competition for children with special needs.

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Provision of an open place known as 'Holt Millennium Green' for the benefit of the local community for recreational activity.

The object of the charity is the relief of persons resident in the City of Worcester who are in need, hardship or distress. The trustees may relieve persons in need by (a) making grants of money to them or (b) providing or paying for goods, services and facilities for them or (c) making grants of money to other persons or bodies who provide goods, services and facilities to those in need.

Raising money to make charitable donations to local organisations.

The WEG is enhancing biodiversity in Worcester and environs. We help residents to understand more about and connect with nature.

Amenity society carrying out environmental work and encouraging the study of history, landscape and culture in the vicinity of Halesowen Abbey. Much work involves the enjoyment of the area by use of public rights of way system. The Trust helps others is understanding and appreciating the local environment and provides advice to local authorities and others.

We work to promote interest in the arts, and encourage participation in creative activities of all sorts. We act as an umbrella body for established local arts groups, run our own events, and provide small grants to support new arts initiatives in the Redditch area.

Financial help to the needy

Provision of an indoor facility for local events clubs etc

The objects of the charity are for the public benefit by provision of a museum and relevant collections concerned with the history of and industrial and other heritage of Bromsgrove and its environs.

Working within the Worcester Night time economy, to patrol the streets in the City Centre with teams of volunteers offering support in a variety of practical and other means to those in need. To advance personal safety, to offer a sympathetic ear and show a caring practical demonstration of care and Christian love to those the Street Pastors come in contact with.

Fundraising for primary school

To advance the education of the pupils of the school by engaging in activities which will help purchase items of equipment and support other educational activities which will be of benefit to the children of the school. Provide opportunities for fund raising, involving the parents, staff and others interested in the welfare of the school.

Management of the Village Hall, including taking bookings, issuing invoices, maintaining the building and its grounds. Being at the core of the village for emergency operations (eg. floods)
