Wyre Forest Talking Newspaper provides weekly audio tapes of extracts from local newspapers in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire (Kidderminster, Stourport,Bewdley). This service is for blind and visually impaired people of the area. It is also for people for whom handling a traditional newspaper is difficult/impossible by reason of some other disability. The service is provided by volunteers

U3A offers educational and leisure activities for retired men and women ie lifetime learning.

ESOL classes, supplementary sch, elderly club, Tai-Chi club, interpreting & translating, advices and communicating for Vietnamese community members.

The Charity provides a place for the elderly, sick or disabled to meet for companionship and entertainment for two hours every month. We also take some on an annual outing to a local place of interest. We provide information about services available to help them and work with the local medical practice on social prescribing. We also offer exercise classes for the over 50s.

We help young people, disabled people & people in need in the Wyre Forest area. We also might respond to emergencies Nationally & Internationally.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT CHADDESLEY CORBETT ENDOWED PRIMARY AND PRE-SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND RESOURCES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL.
