WE RAISE FUNDS FOR THE ROFFT SCHOOL IN MARFORD, NEAR WREXHAM.

To encourage an appreciation of our Welsh Fine Arts Heritage by providing a collection of works of art relating to both Wales in general, and more particularly to the region of North Wales.

We are a church. Our activities are to inform people of the Christian message and to give pastoral care and teaching for Christians.

Money is raised from fairs, bingo nights, movie nights, raffles and recycling. The money goes to Acton Park Primary School to enhance resources

Provision of community transport to local people in and around Malpas, Cheshire where there is very limited public transport. We provide services to community groups and charities catering for those who are disadvantaged by age, financial issues, isolation or physical frailty.

Maintain a historical archive of artefacts relevant to the history of Whitchurch.

Provides opportunities for persons to learn or advance their playing of a brass or other instrument. Provides tuition by the running of a Junior Band and the loan of instruments. Giving public performances to assist the fund raising of other organisations.

THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION (INCLUDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION) OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 IN NEED WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF GRESFORD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH IN WALES.

Conservation, education, training and research associated with the former Glyn Valley Tramway and the communities it served. Restoration of the Tramway as a working heritage attraction which will provide training opportunities and educational facilities.

Awarding grants to young people in the parish to advance education, social and physical training

PTa raise funds for Borras Park Junior School through various events - eg raffles, Summer fairs, discos, bingo nights etc. Money raised helps to fund resources for children in the school.

Scouting activities for young people.

The committee meets about 4 to 6 times yearly, to organise an annual Eisteddfod held in October each year. In order to meet the rising costs of the event, fund-raising events are arranged eg. coffee mornings, raffles and sponsored walks, etc. Applications for grants are also submitted to various bodies.

Providing childcare in the Dee Valley Community

To provide or assit in the provision of facilities in the interest of 1)the education and 2)social welfare for recreationand leisure time occupation of adults with learning disabilities with the object of improving their conditions of life, 3) to develop the capacity and skills in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs to participate more fully in society.

Diversions' is a support network, based in the North West of England, for families with a child or young person living with a bladder or bowel diversion / dysfunction. We provide opportunities for people to experience a range of different fun activities through our regular programme of events. Established in 2002, the North Wales Owl Sanctuary (owlrescue) operates a comprehensive facility for the care & rehabilitation of both wild and captive bred owls from the region, along with the promotion of owl conservation throughout the region.

The village hall is used by the W.I. Church,Pensioners Thursday Group, Blues Club and the Community Council. The community have also used the hall for childrens parties.
