The Friends of St Wilfrid's School raises funds which are used by St Wilfrid's School to purchase additional resources for use by children associated with the school. Activities include the organisation of discos, film nights and skating at the school; family discos and a Summer Ball at local venues, and the school Summer Fair which forms part of the activities for the Grappenhall Walking Day.

Raising money for our school and its children

The objective of the Charity is to raise funds the income of which will be available to repair and maintain St Germoe Church, the Churchyard, Cemetery and Church Hall and to expedite further the religious and charitable work of the Church of England in the parish of Germoe to ensure that the Church remains open as a place of worship and community facility for the benefit of the public.

We organise events and activities for the school community to raise money for the both schools ie Summer Fairs, Easter hunts, Raffles, Quiz nights etc

Spirit of Africa fund raises to support children in South Africa who are without a home or suitable carer. We support a project called Ithembalihle. We provide the finance to house, feed and educate the children at this project. In 2013, in association with GAGA charity we built a pre-school on this site. Since March 2022 the S.Africa Gov. registered and provides all funding for the Pre-school.

Fundraising activities to provide funds for Snaresbrook Primary School

A parent/teacher association for Northmead Junior School. We assist with developing effective relationships between the staff and others associated with the school, and engage in activities to raise funds to support the school in its advance of the education of pupils, such as providing books and paying for workshops. We raise funds through fairs, quizzes, firework nights and discos.

To increase public awareness of history in Essex and in particular of the existence and activities of the Victoria County History of Essex; and to raise funds to support the research and writing of the VCH Essex.
