Woodland Corner is a village preschool, involving the local community where possible. We support the Primary School and at Christmas we are involved in the village Christmas Fayre. We fund raise for new equipment and activities with cake sales each year, recycling toners with a money back scheme, use Easy Fundraising and children help raise money,creating Christmas Cards and sponsored events.

To further both in the United Kingdom and abroad those purposes recognised as charitable by English Law with particular purpose of raising funds for Mosdos Belz Machnovka in Israel.

The Appledore Book Festival raises the profile of Appledore, increases enjoyment of reading in the community for all ages and abilities through exciting events, raises money for local charitable purposes and encourages support for libraries.The Festival advances the education of the public in the subject of literature, reading and the local history of Appledore and its surrounding area.

The charity raises funds for a Christian school in Zambia. The Trustees meet twice a year, normally in October and April. Fellowship Days are also held in April when some 60 to 70 folk from the UK come to receive an update on the work at Chengelo School in Zambia. During the year the charity held a number of fundraising activities, including annual events such as the Summer Ball, Christmas Ball and Charity Golf days. They also hosted a Chinese Feast during the year.

Relief of renal related illnesses and the funding of research and education in renal disease, transplantation and allied fields together with the provision of direct patient amenities

To provide facilities for the community to use, in particular youngsters, ladies and the elderly;To offer a variety of activities and classes for our members;To make available information and advice from people outside the Charity such as such as doctors, teachers, psychologist to educate and help people; andTo raise funds to support the Charity and its work.

Support Group to help others, and their families and friends, who have had, or about to have, cardiac surgery. Also to fund raise to purchase equipment for Royal Papworth Hospital.

Worked in partnership with Age UK charity who leases our building. Have weekly meetings open to all including, Sunday school, womens sewing and craft classes. Donation to the poor in the community and abroad. Work with other organisations in the community. Other outreach and fund raising activities including bag packs and concerts and sponsored walks.

NMCA is primarily a fundraising appeal fund for all freemasons in the Masonic Province of Northumberland. Each year one or more masonic provinces are nominated by The Grand Charity of the United Grand Lodge of England to host a Festival in aid of a designated charity. The Province of Northumberland was nominated to host a Festival in 2020 in aid of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution.

Prayer session every Sunday from 10:30 am to 02:00 pm; Jumat prayer on Fridays Lunch time; Counselling (Marriage,spiritual,career,family issues,education etc). Fund raising for charity activities.

We are developing a 7-day holistic luxury retreat for serving and ex service personnel. Here they will learn multiple ways to enhance their mental health, through a deeper understanding and knowledge of different disciplines they can use in their day to day life.We are currently in a fundraising phase.
