Community Bus Service run by volunteers in part of the South Hams district of Devon

We provide community facilities for local residents, to access activities and opportunities through the use of a community centre. These activities include celebrations, events, clubs and support groups. We also provide volunteering opportunities and community projects through our association to help support our community and promote community cohesion.

To provide premises and recreational facilities for the parishoners of Shelfanger village and the neighbourhood.The Village Hall trustees are committed to ensuring all members, likely members,volunteers and members of the public are treated favourably on the grounds of gender,marital status, race, religion, age, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.

Amateur Dramatics- straight plays, musicals and pantomimes, staged variously at the Compass Theatre, Ickenham, and the Winston Churchill Hall, Ruislip. The pantomime always has one performance that is free to local deserving groups. Club members also act as unpaid volunteers to run the facilities at the Compass Theatre. The Club is a member of the Hillingdon Arts Association & NODA.

The Unit aims to train and develop both its young people and its volunteer instructors to enable them to compete and be prepared for an ever-changing, competitive and demanding world. Scouting Association activite for youth members 6 - 25 years. Led by adult volunteers

A cadet training centre based on Leeds Liverpool canal near Thwaites Mills one of 400 spread across the UK. We currently have 60 cadets trained by 15 volunteers.

Youth work 4 evenings per week and 1 week youth camp. Volunteer helpers and management, no paid staff. Age groups male & female ages 3-7, 8-10, 11-15 and over 15s games. Sports and Team games, including badminton, football, table tennis, volleyball, pool, darts, and other activities (cooking, arts/crafts) depending on group and age.

Providing free-of-charge football to children through a network of Little Leagues. Forming links with other agencies and football/sports clubs in order to develop volunteers' skills and promote childrens football. Forming links with local communities to promote childrens football and raise funds.

Rescue and rehoming of cats and kittens. Providing veterinary treatment prior to rehoming including neutering, vaccinating and microchipping. The cats and kittens are cared for in our volunteer foster homes until new homes are found. We operate a subsidised neutering/spaying scheme for privately owned cats and dogs and where possible will also help with other veterinary treatment for any animal.

We help young people to achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, responsible citizens and members of their local, national and international communities. We do this through an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout promise and Law, guided by adult leadership. Our leaders are all unpaid volunteers.

Based in Hereford city on the River Wye, we are a voluntary youth organisation open to young people from Herefordshire and beyond, from 10-18 years old to come and take part in activities and learning new skills. We aim to provide fun, friendship, adventure and learning new skills through waterborne and landbased activities. Our charity is entirely run by adult volunteers.

To protect and preserve native hedgehogs by providing appropriate care, treatment and temporary shelter to hedgehogs in need. To provide a telephone helpline to advance education and support the general public/vets around the conservation and welfare of hedgehogs and their habitats. To promote environmental protection by supporting conservation and education. Providing volunteering and training.

We are a volunteer organisation who provide free tuition and instruments for it's members. We have both a senior band and a training band. We finance our organisation by performing at paid engagements throughout the year and by our own fund raising efforts. we also complete a variety of charity events throughout the year

The charity has operated principally in the Tees Valley area. It provides counselling services using a team of volunteers and provides training in pastoral care and counselling.

Provides services to those in need including a community transport scheme, home visiting, lunch club and coffee mornings for the elderly. The WVV Community Minibus facilitates several of these activities.

The Rose of Parbold is a wide beam canal boat specifically fitted out for use by special needs groups with wheelchair access throughout. A volunteer crew provides trips on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal in West Lancashire.

A volunteer run local museum which aims to collect, preserve and display objects of historic interest which relate to the history and development of the Borough and the Town of Hedon and of the surrounding area.

Promotion of lectures and study days aimed at educating the public in appreciating decorative and fine arts. Arranging visits to museums, galleries, collections and historic houses. Undertaking church recording work. Providing volunteers for heritage property guides. Giving financial aid to young arts. Contributing to national fundraising for fine art.

The society organises ten lectures each year on the decorative and fine arts. It has a church recorders group whose researches produce records of the fabric and contents of churches for presentation. Volunteers assist museums and other institutions with the cataloguing and maintenance of heritage property. The society makes grants to support arts projects in the community.

The society reviews and comments on all planning applications in the Greenwich (SE10) area. Its volunteers actively participate in cleaning up graffiti and maintaining small 'street' gardens. Events are organised for members to explore buildings and aspects of the region. A regular newsletter keeps members up to date with relevant planning developments in the area.

Promote & support local art gallery & museum, practically by volunteering help & financially by raising money through organizing excursions & talks held at monthly meetings. We also offer visits to other galleries, study days and holidays.

The group maintains its own meeting place & holds weekly meetings for each of its sections:- Squirrels (4 to 5 3/4 years), Beavers (6 to 7 3/4 yrs) Cubs (8 to 10 3/4 yrs) Scouts (11 to 15 3/4 yrs) & Explorers (16 to 17 3/4 yrs) following the Scout Association training programme. In addition hikes, camps & other weekend activities are provided under the supervision of volunteer leaders.

Volunteers provide transport for the elderly frail to hospitals, surgeries and clinics. They also undertake shopping, befriending and the occasional odd job. A weekly escorted shopping by minibus provides social contact and enables elderly people to shop independently with help. Ipad familiarization sessions are also offered
