The PTA holds various fundraising events and activities during the school year. The trustees liase with the headteacher and staff to establish which of the school's requirements can be funded by the PTA or in respect of which parent volunteers can assist.

The Unit runs archaeological projects in Kent and S.E London on threatened sites, including watching briefs, excavations, publication and preservation. Its education work involves two major Roman monuments open to the public with activity schools workshops. The unit is managed by its committee and many volunteers.

Basildon Hospital Radio provide an entertainment and information service to the patients, staff and visitors to the hospital. Most of our programmes are music based with our daily request shows and our weekly programme aimed at the hospital staff being the most popular. We are staffed entirely by volunteers and broadcast 24 hours per day with both live and computer-controlled programmes.

The Friends run a small cafe, managed entirely by volunteers, which provides the funds to enable the purchase of amenities and equipment for all the patients who attend, and staff who work at Barking Community Hospital.

Youth Group run by volunteers and funded by membership fees and fundraising activities adhering to P.O.R. regulations issued by Scouting HQ for children aged between 6yrs and young adults through, beavers, cubs, scouts, young leaders, explorer and network scout sections. Activities include physical challenges, badge work schemes and charitable activities to help or enhance the lives of others.

Providing an affordable space for Children/Adult Dance Classes, Latin Line dance, Tai Chi, Yoga, Over 60's (friendship club), Comer Ladies as regular groups.Used also by the local Community of St John's for Parties, Meetings, Charity events etc. The Hall is managed by volunteers/trustees of Comer Gardens Hall Association

Providing financial backing and volunteer advisors, to adult school's in Lancashire.

The Friends of York Cemetery raise funds to support the York Cemetery Trust, volunteers and the running of the Cemetery. Educational days, genealogy, grave searches and walks round the Cemetery are organised covering an array of topics.

We are a volunteer funded and managed playing field providing play equipment and activities for all ages and abilities. There is a pavilion onsite. Tennis and cricket clubs run form the site. We have no guaranteed income and all maintenance activities and administration is done by volunteers. We have activities such as sports days, cream teas, BBQ's and apple pressing days.

Organise volunteer car drivers to drive residents of Woodcote and surrounding villages without access to their own car, public transport, or any other form of transport to appointments, shops or other venues. Collect prescriptions for these residents who cannot otherwise do so. Organise social/recreational or other activities for this same group with the aim of reducing social or digital isolation

We act as a support group to Sheffield Music Hub, providing practical and financial assistance aimed at increasing and improving opportunities for young people in and around Sheffield to learn music and participate in ensembles. This includes provision of bursaries, purchase of music, help with publicity and general support for all the Hub's activities.

Managed by a group of volunteers, St Martin Parish Hall is maintained for use by members of the public on a self-sufficient basis. Regular hirers include: Church meetings/fund raising events, polling station, private childrens parties. Unsuitable for indoor sports or concerts. Maintaining a public subscribed estate of buildings for the benefit of the land army and volunteers. Making donations for local military benefits and Organisations of the Military, Cadets and Regimental Associations being located in the building.

We are a group of volunteers raising funds to improve the all round education of our young people at school in a variety of ways.

Offer an emercency shopping and perscription collection service on discharge from hospital or illness. Hire of wheelchairs and other aids.

We provide education and training in the techniques of family history research. We encourage the conservation of documents and structures, which record details of social and family history. We sponsor and provide volunteers to undertake research into such documents and thereby act as an umbrella or resource body.
