Home-Start is a national voluntary organisation which is committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under the age of 8yrs. Volunteers visit families in their own homes each week, offering regular support, friendship and practical help. This family-centred support strengthens and empowers families, enabling them to find their own way forward through their difficulties.

SparkFish provides schools ministry on behalf of churches and supporters in Redhill, Reigate, Merstham and Horley. Working through skilled staff and volunteers, SparkFish supports local primary and secondary schools in three main educational areas: religious education and collective worship; spiritual, moral and social development; and pastoral care at times of change and challenge.

Sturfit provides leisure facilities to foster the health and well-being of the people of Sturminster Newton and the surrounding area. Sturminster Newton Lesiure Centre is accessible to all members of this community and wide participation is encouraged. Our planned activities in order to achieve our aims are as follows: Individuals and/or families are referred to Caring Hands and our five banks of resources via a network of over ninety front line agencies from the local community and Vale of Evesham. Referrals are also made by the congregation of the church. Caring Hands also provides drop-in meals twice a week and volunteering opportunities.

KEYS operates a programme of integrated medical, spiritual and community support for individuals with alcohol and drug addiction. The programme is operated by teams comprising mostly of volunteers within churches. The team operates from a conviction that by this holistic approach, issues often at the root of addictions will be dealt with in such a way that relapse becomes much less likely.

The Exeter Gateway Centre provides a five days a week drop-in centre for learning disabled individuals who are not catered for by Devon County Council's Social Services Department.Activities include practical life skills such as cooking and healthy eating, literacy support and working on an allotment provided by Exeter City Council.There are three paid workers and volunteers.

Greater Manchester Blood Bikes provides an out of hours courier service staffed by unpaid volunteers to NHS hospitals and hospices in the Greater Manchester area transporting Blood, Donor breast milk, samples and other items used for medical or the surgical treatment of patients for Doctors ,Hospitals, Hospices, Laboratories and Chemists free of charge.

We signpost those who are homeless, in poverty & facing homelessness to available services. Charity volunteers provide outreach to feed, clothe and provide emergency and essential items to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Cardiff and Mid Wales.
