Didsbury Good Neighbours is a charity whose aim is to support senior members of the community through a volunteer befriending service and a programme of activities, including regular socials, arts and training. In addition to one to one friendship volunteers provide a range of as and when services including emergency shopping, trips and outings, wheelchair assistance & simple DIY and gardening.

We offer a range of gymnastic activities for children of all ages and abilities. We employ a number qualified coaches to deliver our classes along side volunteers. The club administration and management team are all volunteers. We currently deliver all our classes in our own gym in Cardiff.

Travel Hands charity relieves the needs of Visually Impaired People (VIP) by facilitating safe, convenient, and inexpensive outdoor travel so they can attend formal appointments, recreational activities and community events.Travel Hands eases the outdoor commute of VIP by pairing them with sighted & verified volunteers to walk together to similar destinations.

ActivityPAS continues to raise awareness of and improve knowledge of stalking by contributing/speaking at national and local groups.In April 2018 PAS soft launched a specialist Advocacy Service appointing professionally trained volunteers to - Support victims at risk of stalking, enable early identification of stalking and act as a single-point of access to credible and reliable information

We provide opportunities and facilities for the participation in recreational and physical activities with the object of improving the conditions of life and wellbeing of the inhabitants of the communities of the Afan Valley. We are a community fitness suite located in the village of Cymmer, operated by volunteers.

We are a not for profit junior football club run by volunteers for (currently) 280 young children from our community. We believe we represent our community well as we are a diverse multicultural club and community. We create a warm, friendly, fun and safe environment for the boys and girls to learn and play the game they love as well as teaching them other principles, such as, respect & inclusion.

Home-Start Merton is a voluntary organistion providing support, friendship and practical help to families experiencing stress and difficulties. Referral criteria: Families must have at least one child under the age of 5. Families are visited regularly in their own homes by our trained volunteers who all have experience of parenting and know how hard it can sometimes be.

We are a pre-school playgroup providing activities for children aged between 2years and 5 years . We serve the community in Alverthorpe Wakefield and are committee run and actively encourage volunteers to help out in all aspects of playgroup life We aim to provide a safe stimulating environment in which the children learn as they play.

Chorlton Good Neighbours recruits local volunteers to help support older people in Chorlton , Chorlton Park and Whalley Range. Services include transport , visiting and 1-1 support, small DIY and other practical jobs. The group also runs weekly exercise sessions for over 65's, coffee mornings, singing, history, drama , Art ,positive living and gardening groups as well as regular day trips/parties.

New-U provides support to long term unemployed people via meaningful work experience opportunities in a clothes and accessories swap shop. We provide individualised support to increase confidence, self-esteem and skills to move towards work, training or volunteering. We encourage the wider public to re-use textiles and reduce waste.

The charity aims at relieving suffering and poverty by assisting to improve the quality of life of the elderly, disabled, sick and dying. Initiatives begun by the founder, Lady Ryder, in Europe and beyond are supported and encompass palliative care, care of the elderly and promotion of the Christian faith. The charity assists others through other charitable bodies/volunteer organisations.

Home-Start Wellingborough & district is a voluntary organisation in which volunteers offer support, friendship & practical help to families who have at least one child under the age of five and who are experiencing difficulties.

Local community transport service run wholly by unpaid volunteers, - for the public benefit, the relief and assistance to people in need in West Sussex, who may be isolated, in need of community support and who require access to essential needs. - for promotion of social inclusion, community cohesion, integration and voluntary service for all age groups regardless of ability and wealth

The charity provides childcare for children aged 2-5 years. It is based in a community centre which serves the local area. The charity also provides placements for students and school work experience students, as well as parent volunteers.

TVAW aims to rescue and rehome abandoned, illtreated and unwanted cats and kittens. Veterinary treatment is provided and all animals are neutered. The cats are cared for individually in foster homes until suitable homes are found. We also operate a lost and found register and a low cost neutering scheme. All of the work is carried out by volunteers and funded by donations.
