Pro Bono Economics uses economics to empower the social sector and to increase wellbeing across the UK. We combine project work with individual charities and social enterprises with policy research that can drive systemic change. Experts and economists at PBE work on a wide range of issues related to wellbeing including mental health, education, employment, poverty, volunteering and civil society.

The principle activity is to advance the employability and relieve those in need for the public benefit. In particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing the Charity raises funds, provides resources, employment opportunities and facilities to young people with autistic condition and learning difficulties in the wider community.

Voice4Change England is a national membership organisation that advocate for the Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community sector (BME VCS). BME voluntary and community organizations? are a crucial part of civil society that have emerged from and work for BME communities. By supporting the BME VCS we aim to improve the life outcomes for BME and other disadvantaged communities.

1. We build awareness amongst local residents of local needs;2. We inform local donors about local charities addressing these needs;3. We raise funds to support local charities, monitor grants given and provide feedback to donors;4. We seek to enhance donations given through matching initiatives;5. We bring local donors together to share knowledge and experience of local giving.

To advance education in the UK by providing and assisting the provision of literacy support in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including the provision of volunteers to UK primary schools to listen to pupils read and encourage their reading skills.

THE CYNTHIA SPENCER HOSPICE CHARITY RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT STAFF AND PATIENT NEEDS AT CYNTHIA SPENCER HOSPICE

The principle object of the trust is to raise funds for the Missionary work of St. Patrick's Missionary Society Ireland in Africa, Brazil and West Indies.

The Shipwrecked Mariners' Society provides financial support to retired seafarers (Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleet) and their dependants and those unable to continue working at sea through accident, disability, illness or for compassionate reasons. The Charity operates through a nationwide network of volunteers.The Society makes annual awards for acts of skill and gallantry at sea.

To name just a few we have been collecting blood, planting trees nationwide, visiting several hospitals to meet and greet the sick, providing volunteers to the registered British charitites, serving free meals to the needy, making award payments to deserving students and constantly carrying out educational and sports sessions for the members throughout the country.And a lot more!

A local support organisation, it builds the capacity of voluntary and community organisations and promotes co-operation and partnership working between third sector, statutory and other relevant bodies. The Wave Project runs award-winning surf therapy programmes for children aged 8-24 in the UK. Using a combination of qualified staff and trained volunteers, we run an evidence-based programme of peer-led surfing lessons that helps children and young adults to improve their emotional wellbeing. We also run a Beach School project for children at risk of exclusion from school.
