East and North Herts Charity supports patients of East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals, including the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, through fundraising for additional equipment, better facilities and new research. We provide a benefit to patients and their relatives, by making their stay in hospital more comfortable and easing some of the associated anxiety.

Lincoln City Foundation delivers across four core strategic areas which are: Education & Employability, Sport & Physical Activity, Healthier Communities (combining physical health, mental wellbeing, and community cohesion), and Fundraising & Events. Koala North West offers emotional and practical support to families. We aim to strengthen and widen the social support network of families. Volunteers, who are parents themselves are carefully matched to the needs of the family; they then visit the family at home, building a strong supportive relationship offering friendship, reassurance and practical help.

OCVA is the local infrastructure organisation supporting charities, community groups and voluntary organisations in Oxfordshire. We aim to enable a diverse voluntary and community sector to flourish. We do this by providing advice, information and training, acting as advocates and representatives, and building partnerships.

Communities 1st develops, connects and supports local voluntary and community organisations, helping to improve the quality of peoples lives across the districts of Hertfordshire and neighbouring counties. We are home to the local Volunteer Centre, providing support and guidance for those who want to become volunteers and those who want to recruit volunteers.

Supporting families with young children who may be experiencing difficulties. Volunteers offering support in family home or in group setting. Parents benefit from support, friendship and practical help, from volunteers who have parenting experience. Service is free and confidential.

The principle object of the trust is to raise funds for the Missionary work of St. Patrick's Missionary Society Ireland in Africa, Brazil and West Indies.

The Shipwrecked Mariners' Society provides financial support to retired seafarers (Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleet) and their dependants and those unable to continue working at sea through accident, disability, illness or for compassionate reasons. The Charity operates through a nationwide network of volunteers.The Society makes annual awards for acts of skill and gallantry at sea.

CVA provides a wide range of voluntary and community sector (VCS) support services, from community accountancy, fund management, fund raising advice and centre management, to volunteering, training, information, graphic design and networking. CVA also promotes voluntary sector interests to key stakeholders and represents Croydon's Third Sector on Croydon's main strategic partnership bodies.

To name just a few we have been collecting blood, planting trees nationwide, visiting several hospitals to meet and greet the sick, providing volunteers to the registered British charitites, serving free meals to the needy, making award payments to deserving students and constantly carrying out educational and sports sessions for the members throughout the country.And a lot more!

Our aim is to inspire strong and sustainable communities through voluntary and communityaction. Winchester Student Union provides independent educational advice & support and a broad range of extracurricular activities and volunteering opportunities to students of the University of Winchester; this includes an annual, diverse programme of campaigns designed to elect positive behavioral change and provide critical information for the welfare and interests of members and the wider community.
