Wycombe Homeless Connection serves people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in south Bucks, working with volunteers, partner organisations and local authorities.Motivated by our Christian faith, we provide free advice and support to prevent homelessness and to reduce the harm it causes. We help people find a home and defend the rights of people who are homeless or facing homelessness.

Expia works to reduce re-offending by providing real work and training opportunities for risk assessed prisoners on day release. Helping prisoners to understand the impact of their crimes on victims, families and the wider society make reparation for their crimes by volunteering and helping the local community.

The principle activities are:Counselling young people using volunteer counsellors working in schools and youth centres.Training volunteer counsellors in-house and using external trainers.Training school staff in relevant issues.Training young people in schools.

IAF inspire young people to work towards a positive future by providing activities that improve their approach, attitude & behaviours towards education, employment and volunteering. We deliver outreach projects and workshops in partnership with colleges, charities, and employment support agencies, and provide basic IAG so young people can find the help and support they need to progress.

The County Voluntary Council (CVC) for Carmarthenshire - offering support, information and guidance to Third Sector organisations across the county as well as supporting individuals who wish to volunteer in finding appropriate voluntary placements.

The charity's mission is to provide a high quality, professionally-run service, utilising the skills of staff and volunteers to progress people out of the trap of destitution swiftly, comprehensively and lastingly; to promote the relief of poverty, sickness and distress among persons in need, including those not catered for by existing statutory or voluntary services within the United Kingdom.

The Consortium is the only national second tier organisation which specifically represents and supports Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Voluntary and Community Organisations. We exist to see a vibrant, viable and valued LGBT Voluntary and Community Sector. We provide a voice for the sector, link it together, collect information and lead on developing a shared vision.

Basildon, BIllericay and Wickford Council for Voluntary Service is an independent registered charity that exists to promote, develop, support and represent a thriving, effective, voluntary and community sector in the borough.

We provide one to one advice and counseling, organise workshops, seminars and conferences. We network with other women's organisation, advice the Government and other statutory bodies about issues relating to domestic and honour based violence. We provide training in ESOL, IT, confidence building and run a volunteering training programme and organise social activities for women and children.

Bramley Elderly Action (BEA) provides a broad range of preventative health activities for local elders with the help of over 140 volunteers - many of whom are local older people. Older Wiser Local Seniors (OWLS) is part of BEA, providing activities for elders living in the adjacent Headingley, Burley, Hyde Park and Kirkstall area. OWLS is helped by almost 40 volunteers.

From our purposely designed centre, we offer a range of support to families with disabled children or any additional needs. Activities include play clubs, dance classes, mother & toddler group, soft play, IT suite, sensory suite, sibling support, educational support, agriculture, small animal petting area, specialist holiday respite, specialist adapted cycles, crafts, volunteering opportunities.

The Alliance acts as an independent voice for the voluntary and community sectors within Gloucestershire working to strengthen the VCS in the county. It is our aim to collect and represent the views of the VCS to create a stronger and more proactive sector capable of influencing policy and decision making.

To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community, principally but not exclusively in the local government area of Harborough and wider Leicestershire herein called the area of benefit and, in particular, to develop services which enhance the wellbeing of people who are in a situation of need, hardship or distress, or who are aged or sick.

The UK charity supports and funds a school for girls in Ibba, South Sudan. The school opened to its first intake of 40 girls in 2014. Each year about 40 more girls have joined, so that the school is now full with 360 girls in 2023. The school employs 40 people as teachers, matrons, cooks, cleaners, etc. The charity continues to raise funds to finance school buildings and operating costs.

We support, develop and represent the Community Transport sector in and around Pembrokeshire. This includes practical assistance (e.g. marketing, volunteer recruitment, training), coordination of projects and funding bids, representation on partnerships, identifying unmet transport needs and working to develop services in response to these needs.

In its first period of operation the charity ran the ?One in a Million? campaign with the target of raising ?150,000 via a host of fundraising events and activities spanning the whole of the 2011-12 football season. The Charity intends to continue its annual fund raising activities for annually selected charities.
