Newick Village Hall is open for public & private meetings from wedding parties to exercise classes, study groups, youth groups, fundraising & various games, dancing, animal training. It is fully licenced & has a bar & kitchen facilities. It is recently been updated to a high standard.

We are a community youth centre run by local volunteers for school years 7-11. We provide a safe environment for young people to meet, where they can enjoy a range of open and structured youth activities.We are the only independent youth centre in Chalfont St Peter whose youth work is delivered solely by volunteers. We totally embrace and are committed to the philosophy of "Every Child Matters".

Providing scouting activities to young people aged 6 to 14 years. We have groups of Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.The 2nd Exeter Scout Group is affiliated to a national organisation, the Scout Association, although the Group is locally led and locally run by volunteers. To provide leisure and learning facilities to all people within the surrounding area. With particular consideration to children and the elderly. To produce amatuer stage production and provide Community services to all volunteer groups and organisations.

P.T.F.A - to raise funds for Shiplake C of E Primary School, Shiplake Cross Oxfordshire. To enhance the educational and social well being of all pupils at the school. Various fund raising events are held and all the funds are returned to the school to enable them to provide enhanced activities for example, Christmas pantomime, books, cookery equipment etc.

Fundraising activities are held on school premises eg, summer fete, xmas bazaar, quiz nights, themed events, discos. To advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the local authority).

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY THE EXTENSION OF THE WORK, MINISTRY AND PUBLIC WORSHIP THROUGHOUT THE DIOCESE OF CYPRUS AND THE GULF AND SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH THE CHURCH, INCLUDING FUND RAISING AND SUPPORTING ASSOCIATED CHURCHES, MINISTRY TEAMS, CONGREGATIONS AND COMMUNITIES.

The provision, maintenance and management of a village hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit.To act as a representative body for village groups and organisations.To organise and promote activities and fund raising for the benefit of the community inhabitants.

School PTA raising money for school funds

Fundraising events to raise monies for the school to purchase pieces of equipment and to fund events and experiences to enhance the children's education.

Community activities - Charity fundraising events (shows, sales), dance lessons, fitness classes, choirs, pre-school group, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, young farmers meetings & dinners, annual village show. The hall is rented by villagers for weddings, parties and other private functions.

Fundraising to benefit the children of Goodrich Primary School

The organisation of fund raising events and the making of charitable grants.

Projects with young people aged 11-19 underway in Oxford since January 2015. These included regular sessions staffed by volunteers every Saturday evening at local ecological centre, Barrack Lane Gardens, in East Oxford. Grant received from OCYVS and additional funds raised by donations and open days. Since February 2024 the project began to run similar programmes in Sheffield on a Sunday.

Traditional Rotary club activities raising funds for local, national and Internation causes and local community support

The charity raises funds for and otherwise supports The English College in Prague and enables the College to provide a quality education based on the best British and historical practice.

GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ORGANISE A LOT OF ACTIVITIES IN THE CLUB AND RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITIES

We fundraise to maintain this five acre site with provision of new challenging play equipment. This community play area known locally as Fairhill benefits many people in and around Alston as well as visitors on the moor. Currently we are fund-raising to develop a new pump track cycling facility.
