St Margarets PA exists mainly to raise funds for additional equipment and activities for the pupils of St Margaret's School. This is through fundraising activities such as christmas and summer fairs, quiz nights and so on.

The charity provides our community with a pleasant and safe facility for their use for meetings and a range of social functions, such as Keep Fit, WI and a Local History Group. Each year the incumbent Mayor raises money for a named charity/charities. All proceeds are paid over to the named charity/charities at the year end. All administrative costs are borne by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
