Openwoodgate Pre-school is a community based Pre-school in Openwoodgate, Belper. Pre-school care and education is provided by our team of Early Years Workers in St Mark's Church Hall. The group is regulated by Ofsted and is a registered charity.

The Charity offers a child centred approach to learning for children of a Pre-School age (2-4/5yr old). Children are valued and listened to whilst developing kindness towards each other. The Pre-School is committee run by volunteers.

At Thrumpton Kids Clubs we provide high quality care for all children in a safe, caring and stimulating environment where each child can develop their potential, whilst becoming independent and active learners. We offer pre-school educational facilities from age two and a half up to four.

We are a village Pre School offering nursery education to children from the local community and beyond. Our aims are to enhance the development and education of these children while providing a safe, friendly and fun environment.

We pre-school setting that care for children between the age of 2 -5 years. We are a well established and highly qualified team providing children initially with the social and emotional skills before moving on to the specific areas of learning when they are ready. The children learn these skills through play and adult led activities in the lovely spacious hall over looking linear park.

Charity run Pre-school offering school day childcare during term-time. We are OFSTED registered and follow the national Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

We are a community Pre-school and we are allowed to cater for 23 children per morning session between 8.20/9.00/11.45 - 12.00/2.45pm term-time only. We receive 15 hours funding for our three years olds from the Government and now receive funding for 10 hours for some two year olds. Rely on Fund-raising. We operate, adhere the guidedance of Pre-school learning Alliance with joint Policies.
