Portishead Pre-School (formerly Portishead Playgroups) consists of two fantastic pre-school settings; Hilltop Pre-Schooland Brampton Pre-School, situated in the town of Portishead, North Somerset. The pre-school provides childcare and education (Early years) to children aged between 2 and 5 years of age in the local community. We are registered by OFSTED (123649) and have achieved an OFSTED report of 'Outstanding' in March 2020. We support children and their parents/carers regardless of their race, culture, religion, means or ability.

We are children's day nursery and operate in a local community. We offer care and education to children under 5 years old

Our Pre-School provides quality sessional care for children aged 2 years to school admission age. The team provides a warm, caring, happy and stimulating environment to enable the children to learn, develop, explore and have fun! We follow a structured routine in which children can feel settled with the security of knowing what to expect throughout the session.

TO PROVIDE A SAFE LEARNING AND CARING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 TO 11. THE SETTING OPERATES ON A TERM TIME BASIS BETWEEN 7.30AM AND 6PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY. THE SETTING IS NOT OPEN IN THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. WE PROVIDE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS FOR CHILDREN FROM THREE LOCAL SCHOOL AND OFFER A PICK UP SERVICE. WE PROVIDE AN INCLUSIVE PROVISION FOR ALL.

Enhancement of the childrens development and education primarily under the statutory school age by allowing them to experience a wide range of activities both adult led and child led. Parents encouraged to become involved in their child's education. Activities take place in a fun, safe, stimulating child based building.

Cullingworth pre-school delivers planned early years curriculum supported by the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum guidance.

We hold regular and annual activities. We have an Easter Fayre, Summer Fun Day, Photograph morning and christmas hampers. This are all fundraising activies and are supported well by our parents and local community

We are a playgroup providing learning experiences for children of nursery and pre-school age.

We offer affordable pre-school/early education and out of school places. We also run a Holiday Club. The pre-school and Holiday Club attracts children from Triangle and the surrounding area and the OSC serves Triangle CofE Primary. Our services have proven popular and so we have a waiting list. We have an OUTSTANDING OFSTED report.
