We are a pre-school playgroup providing activities for children aged between 2years and 5 years . We serve the community in Alverthorpe Wakefield and are committee run and actively encourage volunteers to help out in all aspects of playgroup life We aim to provide a safe stimulating environment in which the children learn as they play.

As a Pre-School Playgroup we provide Education and Care to pre-school children within the local area. By means of appropriate play activities and a high level of adult input we offer each child at the playgroup the opportunity to work towards nationally approved Early Learning Goals as outlined in the curriculum guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

we are pre-school for ages 2 years old to school age covering the Early Years. We are open five days a week term time only. We have now opened a breakfast and after school club for both Alvanley and Manley school to offer full wrap around care.

We have more than 25 years experience, we are qualified and up to date with the E.Y.F.S and fully prepare children for a smooth transition into 'Big School'. We like to think we are an extension of your home so you can be asssured that your child is having a fun-filled day of learning with new friends.
