The Friends of Weston School (FoWS) actively raises funds to supply essential educational resources and facilities not covered by government funding or the school's budget. Badcock Recreation ground is used by the following teams - football (3), cricket, tennis courts, children's play area and general recreation.The hall is used for numerous activities organised in the village - clubs, concerts, dancing, private hire, theatre group etc.

We organise fundraising activities in order to benefit the learning opportunities of the pupils of Mosborough Primary School. This year we have funded the purchase of a new new playground equipment, books for foundation new starters, equipment for the Science Curriculum and subsidised a number of educational visits for different year groups.

Fundraising through school fairs, raffles, bags2school collections etc. Just finished enriching the outdoor provision for the reception and KS1 playground and now raising funds to improve accessibility of the woodland area and access to a range of new books for the library and subsidising trips so all the children can benefit.

The Friends of Great Milton School raise funds through a range of events and dedicates all surplus to Great Milton Church of England Primary School. Money raised supports the school, to develop play equipment in the play ground and support educational activities.

Walton le Dale Recreation Society run a purpose built Community Centre and 7 acres of communal park land with a designated children's play area. The centre is in constant use by members of the local community and user groups. Fund raising is done by the charity on top of its user group income and 100% of all funds raised are used to maintain and further develop the community centre and grounds.
