Childcare Charities That specialise in Playground

The charity has the sole objective of serving to raise funds for specialist playground equipment for use by pupils at the school. Funding is sought from private and organisation donations, and from discrete fundraising activities. However, if this is achieved, then we still wish to run the charity for additional equipment and facilities for our children.

Our charity activities include raising funds through fairs and events to help fund the school playground and any equipment the school required throughout the school year. We also provide events especially for the children of the school such as disco nights and film nights etc.

Our aim every year is to provide our school with extra funds to help them buy supplies that they might otherwise not be able to. We have raised money in the past to help with playground improvements, football kits and books.

Steppingley Village Association is the governing body of Steppingley Village Hall and Steppingley Recreational Association. We organise a variety of social and leisure activities throughout the year for children, youth and adults. We maintain and manage the village hall, village pavilion, recreation ground and the children's play area for the benefit of the village and its neighbourhood.

Raising funds through school-based events such as Summer & Christmas Fairs. Funds raised are donated to Greetland Academy to enhance the educational experience of pupils. This usually means funding enhancements to school premises or equipment which would not be available through existing school budget e.g. new playground facilities, gifts for school starters & leavers etc.

Increasing parental involvement with school & education. Using monies raised to provide extra goods and services for the school to enhance and promote education. Purchasing books, playground equipment and prizes. Holding Summer and Christmas Fairs and promoting the involvement of the local community. Facilitating social activities at the school such as a leavers disco.

MAINTENANCE OF VILLAGE HALL AND PLAY AREA

Looking after village hall and playground.

We administer a recreational area which encompasses a football field, cricket pitch and play area, including child play area and equipment and young adult/adult fitness equipment. Our associate members include the local cub, brownie and rainbow groups, cricket club and football club. This area is available for use to all comers and buildings are available for rent if wanted.

The PTA raise funds to enable the pupils of our school to enjoy a full and varied learning environment. We enrich their schooling by paying for trips, buying extra equipment eg digital cameras, playground equipment and by organising fun events such as visiting entertainers.

We currently have two fundraising projects. Our short term aim is to upgrade and refit our school library. Our long term aim is to refurbish and update our soft play area.

Create a safe play environment for children of Llanfaes and surrounding area. Fund raising activities to fund various items of play equipment.

To help develope children's education through for example, computers, games equipment and playground developement. We also help update/replace schemes of work throughout the school

Large children's play area, timber play kit, zip wire, 5 a side football, outdoor gym equipment, picnic tables, MUGA face, local events inc small fun fair. Along with an informal walk through the park into the High Street and local shops. The park as an active Friends who organise a range of community activities throughout the year

FIELD AND PAVILION USED FOR YOUTH AND ADULT FOOTBALL. CHARITY FUNDRAISING TO ENABLE FACILITIES TO CONTINUE. EXTRA FUNDRAISING FOR NEW PLAY AREA AND EQUIPMENT (PRIZE BINGO, SOCIAL NIGHTS ETC.) ANNUAL SUMMER PARTY/FUN DAY.

Provision of a Playing Field with integral children's play area

Provide facilities inside hall for local groups including Community Council, Music group, Aikido, Pilates, Quiz nights, Bingo nights, Computer classes, First Aid classes, Inter denominational services (eg Remembrance Service, Thanksgiving, Christmas Carol service), Concerts, Polling Station during elections.Outside: Play Area for local children.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of children and young people in Parkham, Devon who have need of such facilities with the object of improving their conditions of life.

We are the PTA for our local primary school. This year we have held discos & Summer & Christmas fairs. All the year 6 leavers were presented with a book of their choice,plus an evenings bowling. We have also provided refreshments at many events, including Sports Day & Nativity performances. But our main achievement was updating the key stage playground to be used by the whole school

School fundraising. Organising events such as school fairs, children's events such as disco's, parent's events such as quiz nights. Furnds raised are used to support the school by funding equipment and events such as purchasing wall bars for the gym, financing playground improvements, funding performances for the children etc.

Providing recreational open space on Orleton Recreation Ground for a number of sporting and other outdoor activities, including a child friendly playground, to benefit the local community.

The charity leases the village hall and neighbouring playfield. It owns a sports pavilion and these properties are made available to individuals and organisations for sport and recreational purposes. Additionally a childrens play area with various items of equipment is provided.
