GIVE MONEY TO SUPPORT MISCELLANEOUS "GOOD CAUSES" - NATIONALLY-KNOWN CHARITIES (GENERALLY, NOT THE HUGE FUNDS), LOCAL CHURCHES (RESTORATION APPEALS &C.), A LOCAL CLASSICAL-MUSIC TRUST; AND ALSO, PARTICULARLY, INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION, HEALTH AND AGRICULTURAL NEEDS IN THE GAMBIAN VILLAGE OF JAMBANJELLY.

Endeavour to influence the conduct and policies of local and national government and other bodies; to ensure that development is in the best interests of the people who live in North Yorkshire. We also seek to preserve the landscape and townscapes as best can be done in the light of changing circumstances. We co-operate closely with like minded bodies in the pursuit of these activities.

Weekly club meetings both educational and social

To enable women to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. It seeks to give all women the opportunity of working together through the WI organisations and of putting into practice those ideals for which it stands.

To advance education in agriculture, forestry and horticulture, food production and related subjects by the provision of a scholarship for study travel to any part of the world.

The object of the University College shall be the provision, conduct and development of the University College to provide higher education for the industries, professions and communities associated with rural land. The charity is not currently active.

We have been advised to keep this open for another year then it will be closed as no monies have been received

Education and development of young people through a variety of activities and competitions including public speaking, stock judging, cookery and sports. 10 clubs across the county organise their own weekly meeting. Emphasis on social, fundraising and travel opportunities too.

Bishop Waltham Young Farmers Club is part of the Hampshire Federation, which is in turn part of a national federation. We provide activities for 10 to 27 year olds who are interested in the countryside, farming, sports, social events etc. Our club has been running since 1936.

A.T.C.O.'s first duty is to help relieve poverty in West Africa and the West Indies by disseminating, educational materials in (STEM Subjects) farming technology and agricultural equipment which are essential factors to the cultural & social-economic development of Africa and the West Indias. It will also support the African diaspora in the United Kingdom, ATCO welcomes any volunteers.
