IF YOU QUALIFY FOR HELP, AND WE HAVE THE FUNDS, THEN WE GIVE SUBSIDIES TO HELP PEOPLE LEARN TO DRIVE. WE MAINLY WORK IN THE PARISHED RURAL AND SUBURBAN AREAS OF CHESTER.

The provision of educational courses and learning seminars, with opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities, based on the ethos of Rudolf Steiner. Subjects include agriculture, horticulture, anthroposophy, a range of well-being therapies, art and philosophy, care for people with learning disabilities.

Anvil supports internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Kupe Muanenguba Division of the crisis-hit Anglophone Cameroon. Through its bespoke training programmes, Anvil promotes an education that is designed for sustainable methods - skills training to improve farming methods, improve the value of the 550 hectares of (predominantly virgin) Essossong land to attract investment into the local economy.

The Gazelle Trust (TGT) gave a grant to 'Affordable Computers and Technology in Tanzania' to equip a community school with a computer room and train 2 teachers. TGT designed and distributed, with training, an educational aid for reading and comprehension in 4 schools in Rwanda. TGT set up a Youth Centre in a rural Zambian town with a community library that will assist it in becoming sustainable.
