To facilitate music-making activities for people of all ages living in the villages/towns of Wiltshire, through presenting and performing music. To promote the study and practice of music, especially in its social and co-operative forms. To conduct negotiations with any government, local, municipal or other authorities on matters affecting the study and practice of music in Wiltshire.

The promotion, for the benefit of the public, of urban or rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation (and in particular in Bridport and the surrounding parishes).

We're a community pre-school providing local village children the opportunity to learn through play. We also run the only parent & toddler group in the village, a lifeline for rural families.

1) To promote the advancement of training for the land based employment within Derbyshire and surrounding geographical area.2) To support other organisations in maintaining standards related to the awards. 3) Facilitate the recruitment and training of verifiers for awards related to land based work.4) Liaise with other training & education providers to enhance opportunities.

Dartmoor Search & Rescue Team (Tavistock) provide search & rescue services for the Police and Ambulance services for Dartmoor and the surrounding rural area. The team searches for and recovers missing persons of all ages and circumstances, such as youth groups, the elderly, despondents and those with dementia, and provides first aid and rescue cover for Ten Tors and similar events.

We have four funds. Relief in need, education, public purposes & church. They are self explanitory, except that the church fund is a share of our net income. Our area of benefit is limited to the urban & rural districts of Whittlesey. Applications from outside our district will perhaps not receive a reply.

The team provides personnel to support the Police as required to search for and rescue members of the public who are missing and/or injured in rural and semi-rural areas in the South West of England. The team can mount an immediate and totally self-sufficient search & rescue operation at any time of day or night with trained search managers, medics and search & rescue personnel and equipment.

Khandel Light was founded by Dr Peter Gough in 2000 after a visit to India. The charity works with Nirman Sanstha NGO in Khandel, Rajasthan, India to help the poorest families in this and surrounding villages with relief from drought, poverty, sickness, illiteracy and distress. In addition it helps to promote advancement in education and health education in this region of rural deprivation.

Since 2020 THI has been working to help raise the standard of living for the remote and rural sub-location of Kanjoo in the Meru District of Kenya. To date we have been improving infrastructure, access to educational resources and WASH education in 7 schools whilst also improving access to water in the wider community for irrigation purposes and domestic use.

Burniston and Cloughton pre-school playgroup provides quality education and care for children from 2 to 4 years of age. We are situated in the rural location of Cloughton, north of Scarborough. We employ 4 qualified members of staff and can cater for 24 children per session.

Eilidh MacLeod Memorial Trust is a charity dedicated to the advancement of music education of children and young people, primarily but not exclusively in rural Scotland.

To advance the education of young members of the public at large in agriculture, homecrafts, country life and related subjects. Also in the interests of the social welfare of such members to provide, and promote the provisions of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations, being facilities which will assist in their development.

Uganda Concern UK supports the work being carried out by UWCM in rural communities near Mbale in the east of Uganda. Their work includes training and supporting women's groups and communities to restore their dignity and independence, and caring for needy individuals or families in their villages. Support and advocacy for orphaned and vulnerable children is another vital aspect of their work.

The Sustainable Nitrogen Foundation undertakes and supports scientific research associated with biological nitrogen fixation and its use in agriculture to reduce the use of harmful nitrogen fertilisers and to improve crop yields. The Foundation is particularly concerned with the development and use of biological nitrogen fixation in crops grown by small-holder and subsistence farmers.

Furthering objects of charity

Fellrunner provides a community bus service, operating scheduled services under a section 22 licence. It also organises regular community excursions. Its aim is to alleviate rural isolation by providing access to essential services such as medical, retail, financial and main line transport in addition to providing opportunities for 'socialising'.
