The improvement of Agriculture, Horticulture and Livestock Breeding.

The Grow Project offers adults with experience of mental health issues from Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas the opportunity to improve & maintain their wellbeing by accessing the local countryside in a safe, supported group. Working in partnership with National Trust and other groups we aim to build community, improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and facilitate the learning of new skills.

Society Objectives:-1. To promote animals and plants of the countryside, objects of geological, historical and archaeological interest.2. To promote the formation of Nature Reserves and to assist in their supervision.3. To foster interest in Nature Conservation through public meetings, film shows, exhibitions, publication of books, our Annual Newsletter, leaflets and general communication.

The Trust makes grants to charities and other bodies for the improvement and welfare of British agriculture.

Ripley and District Agricultural and Horticultural Society Limited operates an annual show and has done for in excess of 160 years. The show is held on the 2nd Sunday in August in Ripley Castle Park by kind permission of Sir Thomas and Lady Ingilby. The show covers a broad spectrum of agricultural, horticultural, equestrian and other major attractions and is run on a full charitable basis.

We are a small community preschool for. We employ 3 members of staff to provide childcare but otherwise run as a voluntary organisation with parents providing committee and administrative roles, as well as assisting the manager. We provide accessible care in a socially disadvantaged rural area. We rely on fees, nursery education funding and grants/fundraising to operate.

Promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in particular by conserving endangered wildlife andecosystems.

The promotion of agriculture by the management, promotion and the improvement of the breeding of the Salers breed of livestock and the maintenance of the purity of the breed.

The main object of the charity is to promote the advancement of agriculture for the benefit of the public by providing the show field for Dalston Show (CIO and linked charity) to hold an annual show at Dalston.

Advance and promote agriculture by improving the breed and promoting and encouraging the breeding of Jacob Sheep

A rural youth organisation for all young people with an interest in the countryside aged 10-26 years. Recognised life skills are learnt by members who run their own clubs, chairing meetings, secretarial duties, treasurer duties and programme planning are just a few. Training and achievements in public speaking,sports and the arts are within the structured sports and competitions programme.

We offer excellent quality childcare in a safe and rural environment. We pride ourselves on low ratios and have a maximum of 18 children at any one time. We are extremely affordable and support local employment for families who otherwise would not be able to go to work. We also link with the Governments 30 hour free childcare offer to make it always the better option of going back to work in term

This charity provides pre school education for mainly but not exclusively pre school children, through the medium of Welsh in the rural village of Llangadog.

We support projects which contribute to the education, health or relief of poverty of children and their families in East Africa. Currently these include a children's centre and schools in the slum areas of Nairobi, Kenya and a school in rural Uganda.

Countryside Conservation, working with local communities and other volunteers, offering skills training. We also offer team building events. Environmental education with school groups in the wider community, in school grounds and at the Countryside Centre. Also with other groups of all ages. Organising events with schools and local communities.

Co-ordinates and supports activities of Women's Institutes in Bedfordshire. The Women's Institutes undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN AGRICULTURE, HOME CRAFTS, COUNTRY LIFE AND RELATED SUBJECTS. IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF MEMBERS TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES.

We provide forest school and woodland based activities for all ages. This includes long term therapeutic alternative curriculum for those struggling in school, family play sessions, curriculum enrichment including living history days and projects, holiday play, training and workshops for adults, rural and traditional crafts, conservation volunteering, overnight camps.

The objects of Rottingdean Preservation Society are to preserve the village & the amenities & rural surroundings of Rottingdean & improve the same & preserve & maintain Rottingdean Windmill. The society also has a lease over part of The Grange, Rottingdean where it operates and manages an art gallery, museum & exhibition rooms for the benefit of the residents of and visitors to the village.

The Farming Life Centre is dedicated to improving the quality of life of Peak District farmers and rural communities. It promotes health and well-being through its projects, services and resources and celebrates hill-farming past, present and future.

To build community hubs in key locations in south-eastern Romania. To provide mini buses for transport to events in order to promote social cohesion. To fund the construction of community education and sports facilities and establish associated training. Establish school assistance programmes. To encourage micro-agriculture and farming as a source of income to encourage self-sufficiency.

We work with the christian churches at the Teso region of North East Uganda to provide relief of poverty, hunger and ill health through the provision of clean water, the improvement of livelihoods through training and support for improved agriculture and the development of community self help and leadership through training of community groups as well as the advancement of the Christian religion.
