The main purposes of the W.I Organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, arts and crafts, improve conditions, advance education in citizenship in public questions - national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health & social welfare, and to put in practice those ideals.

Monthly meetings held to promote educational and social well-being of women in a rural community.

Education Rural Outreach Project (EROP) is a Charity set up to eradicate hunger, poverty and deprivation by empowering people through education to lead lives of self-reliance, build better futures for their generation. EROP creates awareness, value and benefits of education to disadvantaged families and children in remote areas of Ghana and Worldwide, to motivate these children to attend School.

A RURAL YOUTH ORGANISATION FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THE RURAL COMMUNITY AGED BETWEEN 10-26 YEARS OLD.

We use our community minibus to help socially isolated older people in this very rural part of the North York Moors. Public transport is sparse and not easily accessible. We run outings to lunches, shopping, cinemas, theatres, concerts, coffee mornings, garden centres and other places of interest. In addition we have weekly swimming trips. These people are thus able to be part of the community.

In pursuing our objectives of developing the skills of young people, particularly in an outdoor environment, we help them gain confidence, learning to work together as teams and take their place in society, through a programme of activities typical in traditional Scouting. Our age range is from 6 years old through to adulthood, operating in a rural area south of Newmarket, Suffolk.

Voluntary rural youth organisation for young people between the age of 10yrs and 26yrs.

To make grants to individuals/families to alleviate poverty, help hardship cases, support families in the old Dunmow Rural District Council area, (now mainly southern area of Uttlesford District Council).

Provides funds and resources for education and agricultural development.

We Plant, Promote and Protect trees throughout Dorset. We run a schools project"My Life My Tree, Growing together" in 4 rural schools to introduce children to our objectives. We give talks and run demonstrations of tree planting and management. Where relevant we comment on national policy consultations concerning trees We give grants as well as plant trees ourselves.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

We are supporting other ministries in Africa. Main focus is preparing the congregants to be self sufficient in business (farming, exporting produce etc) and in their own personal lives. Some seminars have been held to this end.

Advancement of education at Bishop Burton College of Agriculture which would benefit under developed countries

Freston Village Hall serves a very small rural village with a population of approximately 120. The Village Hall is let out for a variety of regular activities and also one off events.

To promote & enrich the quality of community life by provision of a facility to accommodate & enable access by diverse; services, social, cultural, educational needs of a rural community.Manage the Guildhall in a financially sustainable manner for current & future residents of Cound. Maintain and improve the fabric and grounds of the Guildhall in a environmentally efficient and sustainable manner.

The charity looks after a long standing community village hall that provides a meeting place for rural communities in West Wales. We maintain a space where the community can come together on a regular basis for coffee, music events and to raise money for local and national good causes.

To enable individuals to meet and take part in recreational, educational and other events such as exercise and art classes, Young Farmers Club meetings, Parochial Church Council and local Parish Council meetings. The hall is also used as a Polling Station for local and general elections. It also provides an ideal venue for private events, birthday parties and wakes.

Provision of grants to assist people to pursue further education in the fields of rural craft training.

We are a charity supporting West Torrington and the wider area to protect and restore local heritage and support isolated areas to tackle rural disadvantage. We purchased the local closed church to create a much needed indoor space to support the community in 2024 to support these aims. We provide services to minimise rural isolation, provide cultural & heritage opportunities, education & support.

The charity applies only to five small rural parishes in Somerset, Marston-Magna, Ashington, Rimpton, Chilton Cantelo and Limington. Funds are concentrated on bursaries to help pay for individual childrens instrumental music tuition. Support is also offered for individual development in dance, drama and art.

Teaches young members about the countryside, enviroment and agriculture, through talks visits and competitions. Meetings take place once a week. Club does much for the local community and fundraises for itself as well as many other charities.
