The principal object of the Charity is the promotion and advancement of the education provided by The Diocesan College, a school in Cape Town, South Africa. It does this by obtaining donations, primarily from donors in the United Kingdom, and transferring them to The Diocesan College.

Dispersion of small educational grants to assist in the further education of young people living in Swanton Morley.

Gives small grants at Christmas to elderly persons, or couples, living on small basic incomes, and to students in further education where help with study expenses is deemed warranted by the Trustees. Recipients are required to be residents of the village of Little Chesterford, Essex.

Further Education College

Assistance to young people in the parish of Ormside who are progressing to either higher / further education, or taking up other training such as an apprenticeship.

The income and property of the charity shall exist for the purpose of advancing the education of the students by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the education of students at the school and not normally provided from the delegated budget.

Grants given for books, equipment etc to students from Pattishall Parish who are in higher education. This includes University, colleges of higher education training courses, apprenticeships, placements etc.
