The Mathematical Association, formed in 1871, works to support and improve the teaching of mathematics. It is represented on all major bodies concerned with mathematics education in the UK and has wide influence through its members, publications and activities. Primary/secondary schools teachers, lecturers in further/higher education, advisers, inspectors, practising mathematicians are members.

We design and make equipment for people with disabilities where existing solutions are either inaccessible or inadequate. We also provide an equipment sign-posting service. We improve & repair equipment already in use, and we encourage interest in design for disability through close ties with universities & via annual student placements enabling students to develop people centred design skills

The charity is a Christian Church mainly (not exclusively) focus on the Chinese population in West Yorkshire; both local residents and overseas students. The Alkaptonuria Society is a patient group organisation which helps and supports people with Alkaptonuria a rare genetic disease. It helps people who suffer from Alkaptonuria and we receive worldwide enquiries. We are involved in research with the University of Liverpool to find a cure for Alkaptonuria.

The principal activity of the charity is the advancement of public education by organising and facilitating educational courses and placements in colleges and universities in Estonia and Kazakhstan for students from United Kingdom universities and colleges.

The objects of the Trust are to advance the education of the public in the arts of ballet and contemporary dance and to promote further and higher education in those arts, primarily by supporting and providing facilities for the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
