Events including a Christmas Bazaar, a village Duck Race, a Summer Fete and several school discos. For the Duck Race we engage with local businesses who sponsor races and pay for advertising in the programme. Local businesses also provide prizes for raffles and games at the Christmas Bazaar, Duck Race and Summer Fete. Foss is part of the Easyfundraising scheme & participates in Bags for School.

OUR PTA SUPPORTS THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF ALL THE PUPILS ATTENDING QUEENSBRIDGE PRIMARY SCHOOL BY ORGANISING AND MANAGING FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES.

The principal activity of the Association during the year was that of fund raising with the sole aim of assisting Trent CE Primary School and its pupils.

Our object is to advance the education of the pupils of Long Sutton Primary School, by developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.We engage in activities like fayres and discos to raise money for euipment for the school.In the year we have also funded a pantomime visit for all the children. Our next big project is an outside shaded seating area.

The organisation is set up to benefit the inhabitants of the village of Buckland and the surrounding areas, the local primary school and associated clubs. The Memorial Hall provides a venue for organised events run to provide opportunities for members of the community to attend social, educational and recreational events.
