Education Charities That specialise in Schools

Cotswold RDA is so much more than just a riding school. It is a supportive community of riders, families, carers, schools, colleges, trustees, volunteers, staff and our herd of very special ponies. Over 200 adults and children with a wide variety of physical disabilities and learning difficulties take part in riding and other equine based activities each week improving their health and wellbeing.

We are providing an educational enviroment for under 5's in a local village, in the Mid Bedfordshire county. We offer parents a fully flexible choice of full day care for thier children to help parents who want to return to work. We have been succesful in fundraising for a new building so we can expand the care & facilities we can offer to our children and parents, we moved in July 11.

Provide full daycare for children aged 0 to 5 years in a safe secure and stimulating environment. We are registered with Ofsted to provide care for 24 children aged 2 to 5 and 12 children aged 0 to 2. We plan activities around children's interests using the Early Years Foundation Stage document. We are open from 7.45am -5.45 five days a week 50 weeks of the year.

The Charity runs scouting and guiding activities for Polish youth in the UK from age 5 to 21 years of age. Through such activities the aim is to provide an exciting and challenging programme for young people and to assist school and family in developing mentally strong, self sufficient, intelligent youngsters ready to take on leadership roles in the general community.

Stan's Cafe make highly original theatre from their Birmingham base and tour it locally and internationally. Often presented free in non-theatre spaces, to offer wide audience access, these shows help people see the world in new ways. An extensive participatory programme encourages learning across age groups but particularly focuses on school improvement across the curriculum through the arts.

Blossom & Bloom provide well-being support and socialisation to expectant mums and mums with babies (pre-school age), who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, disadvantage or social isolation. We promote socialisation, positive well-being, financial independence and opportunities to skill up, access training/employment, to reduce the risk of future poverty and homelessness for mum and baby.

The National Association of Virtual School Heads exists to improve educational outcomes for care experienced children by working with partners and commissioning research to ensure that the educational needs of looked after children are better understood.

Objects of the charity are to carry out the wishes of Arthur Zimmermann's bequest of his estate through the provision of grants to the Hereford Cathedral School.

We have completed the restoration of Scruton and Leeming Bar Station building. We have donated to assist in the restoration of Bedale signal box, which is a listed building of heritage interest. We have spent money on in-house training and specialised training courses for volunteers. We are involving the Trust in contacts with schools, through two specific projects.

Restoration, preservation and display of the 'SS Robin' steamship built in 1890 as a publically accessible London based maritime museum . Developing links with partner organisations, local schools and colleges for education and exhibition programmes. Fundraising, including major grant applications to Heritage Lottery Fund.

We provide one to one Play & Creative Arts Therapies to children who are struggling with emotional or behavioural difficulties. Sessions are delivered in the child's school. We work with parents on a one to one basis and in groups, and provide training to those who work with children and young people in our approach focusing on the use of play to support healthy emotional development.

The Red Letter Project is a charitable organisation with a Christian ethos which provides for the needs of the local community in and around the parish of St. Johns church in Great Horton, Bradford. It's key activities are the provision of a community hall, a lunch group open to the needy and lonely, a food bank/shared table, evangelical support for local schools and the provision of a nursery.

Support of the religious and other charitable activities of the Congregation of the Society of Marie Auxiliatrice, including pastoral work in parishes, retreat ministry, youth work, educational work, school chaplaincies and liturgical ministry.

The public worship of God every Sunday at both morning and evening services. Sunday School, mid-week Bible Study and Prayer Meeting, Christianity Explored classes, Youth activities including Girls Brigade and Boys Brigade, Ladies and Mens Fellowship Meetings, Coffee Bar outreach and drop-in center, services in Old Peoples homes. All activities are open to the general public.

The charity is running a nursery and nursery school for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. It operates 5 days a week between 7am and 6pm. It also has a holiday club for children in the area, not necessarily at the nursery, up to the age of 8 years. The summer club is open and offered to visitors to Crantock. All activities of the charity are open to all.
