SUPPORTING THE EDUCATION OF TANBRIDGE HOUSE STUDENTSUNDERTAKE THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD SCHEME

The furtherance of any charitable purpose connected with Queen Anne's School. This is principally carried out through the funding of bursaries to pupils at Queen Anne's School.

The community centre runs a pre-school, a lunch club for the elderly, and a coffee bar is open during the day serving meals, drinks and snacks. The centre hires out a function room for the use of local clubs and organisations, and to the local family centre. The centre is a source of general information and advice.

Leatherhead Youth Project Ltd provides a number of activities in the Leatherhead area. This includes the BFree Youth Cafe & Information Centre for the young people where they can meet friends, after school in a safe, drug & alcohol free environment, external activities & trips for the young people. LYP also manages the youth clubs & youth lead services for the Churches Together in Leatherhead.

As a church for the local community we offer, in addition to our regular Sunday worship service, a range of activities for adults, young people and children designed to explore Christian faith and provide practical care and support including a pre-school, clubs, toddler group, drop-in centre and lunch club. We also support financially the work of other Christian organisations and individuals.

The principal objective of the charity is to create positive lives through education. This encompasses enabling individuals to develop their knowledge and self-awareness in harmony with natural and spiritual laws.

Provides nursery education and care for children from age 2 to 4 1/2 as well as running other services to support families with young children living in the area.

WE PROVIDE A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES WHICH INCLUDES SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES, PRAYER GATHERINGS, SMALL GROUP MEETINGS, YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S MEETINGS, AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS AND PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP. WE ALSO HAVE A SMALL TEAM WORKING TO SUPPORT CHILDREN IN THE LOCAL PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL.

The objects of The Mary Hare Foundation are the relief of persons suffering from deafness and the advancement of education amongst the deaf. In practice the Foundation directs its support towards the deaf children attending the Mary Hare School, Mary Hare Primary School and the Burwood Centre in Newbury and those who benefit from Mary Hare's outreach work (reg. charity 1048386).

King Solomon High School is a voluntary- aided secondary school; its object are to further the education, including religious, social and physical,of children attending the school under the religious direction of the Chief Rabbi and in accordance with the aims of the school by promoting high standards of academic excellence in both Jewish and secular subjects and Jewish beliefs values & traditions

The Foundations Trust provides support and oversight for a range of connected projects based from the twelfth-century Round Church in the centre of Cambridge, exploring the relationship between Christianity and culture. These include Christian Heritage which runs the Round Church Visitor Centre and the Cambridge Christian Study Centre through which the charity also supports university ministry.

Hotel School teaches hospitality skills to homeless and vulnerable people, matches them to sustainable employment, and supports them in their first steps into work.

We offer a Full Day Care service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to parents and families who need Childcare facilities for children who attend Borras Park Primary school for part or all of the day. Working families are able to apply for Welsh Government funded free Child Care for up to 30 hours a week for children aged between 3-4 and we are open to families from other settings during the holidays.

The charity provides out of school activities for socially isolated & financially disadvantaged children and young people, inc. children with special needs / disabilities, from ethnic minority communities in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Haringey. The Charity's aims to educate children through social, leisure & educational activities to develop their physical, mental & emotional capacities.

Manchester Buddhist Centre provides a place of peace in Manchester. We offer classes in meditation and Buddhism both for Buddhists and non-buddhists and, for those who ask for it, training for ordination. We welcome schools and community groups, having developed a reputation for excellence.

We are currently working in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. In each country our activities are slightly different but have the common aim of enabling every child to gain access to primary education. BHCM IS A CHRISTIAN CITY MISSION WORKING IN LOCAL SCHOOLS (TAKING ASSEMBLIES, OFFERING CURRICULUM SUPPORT, ORGANISING PRAYER SPACES, AND TRAINING MEMBERS OF LOCAL CHURCHES TO WORK IN SCHOOLS); MINISTERING IN RESIDENTIAL HOMES FOR THE ELDERLY (TAKING MONTHLY SERVICES AND ARRANGING 1:1 VISITS); AND OPERATING A FOOD BANK SUPPLYING EMERGENCY FOOD, BEDDING & HOMEWARES TO PEOPLE FACING DOMESTIC CRISES.
