The U3A movement encourages its members to share knowledge and talents with each other in informal learning interest groups. This self help model empowers members to create opportunities to learn in ways that suit them best. As a result, members contribute to a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities in an atmosphere of mutual support and companionship. Members study for enjoyment.

The Hall's varied facilities are well used by the local community. Activities include a successful over 60s luncheon club, yoga and keep fit classes, U3A groups, wood turners group, pantomime, badminton and, Old Cornwall Society. The National Blood Transfusion Service and Cornwall Council use the Hall. Private functions are welcomed.

We are a friendly self-help organisation offering more than 50 member-led interest groups and a monthly meeting for all members with a talk of general interest. The interest groups allow people to share their hobbies and interests, study new topics and enjoy the companionship of others. Members come from Bishops Cleeve, Woodmancote and the surrounding area.

The purposes of Abingdon-on-Thames U3A are to advance education and in particular the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development, in Abingdon-on-Thames and its surrounding locality.

At the village hall different organisations hold coffee mornings on a Wednesday when the Post Office is there. We also hold private parties, discos, Christmas parties for the children & OAP's, race nights, barbecues, quiz night, bingo, Mr & Mrs evening. Different organisations hold meetings there , eg WI, YFC,Cury Old Cornwall society Cury Hunt keep fit, Art classes U3A Line dancing & others.

Providing education, training, and vocational activities, to its membership, who are individuals no longer in full time employment.

We organise and coordinate a monthly programme of talks, discussions, interest group meetings, field trips, outings and social events aimed predominately at the local retirement community, with the objective of fostering life-long learning, fitness and mental welfare. All activities are run by our members.

Educational Social and Sporting Events for older people no longer in full-time employment

We are an educational organisation, members are from in and around Doncaster, retired or semi-retired . Approximately 42 groups, each with a Group Leader, drawing on skills from within the group. Monthly meetings with hired speakers, bi-monthly newsletter , weekly coffee morning, vibrant informative website. Occasional visits and trips, theatre visits.

General Meetings with visiting speakers are held monthly plus around 107 Activity Groups covering 67 educational, recreational, creative and leisure interests. Run by Members for Members as learning for pleasure, groups include Art,Architecture,Books,Canals,Computing,Craft,Current Affairs,Family History,Languages,History,Model Engineering,Music,Photography,Poetry,Quiz,Rambling,Science & Theatre.

We run activity groups for our members. We are affiliated to the Third Age Trust and run the Saltash u3a. All our activity groups,over 30, are run solely by volunteers for our members

The charity provides educational courses for senior citizens in mid-Hampshire. It also arranges social events many of which supplement the more formalised educational courses.

The charity's object ('the object') is the advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people and those retired from full time work, by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Moseley, Kings Heath and surrounding district.

We aim to provide the means for local people over 50 yrs. to pursue their interest in structured groups. We rent appropriate space, provide equipment, produce a time-table and recruit class leaders in return for an annual membership fee and class fee, classes include sports, languages, arts, handicrafts, and games. We hold monthly forums with a speaker, monthly luncheon club & walking group.

Beverley U3A are a group of 480 mainly retired older members who try to advance their education by meeting together once a month to listen to a speaker. They also meet in smaller groups to improve their conditions of life in the interests of their social welfare.

Enables people that are retired, semi-retired or not in full time employment to get involved collectively to learn new activities, involving both mind and body to enhance self-esteem and well-being. Facilities provided for learning, leisure & recreational activities provide opportunities for people to share their ideas, thoughts and memories with others, thereby enriching lives of those involved.

We are a recently reformed group of 13 Trustees following the October 2023 AGM. There are 7 Representative Members serving the community. They represent the U3A, Drama Club, WI, Girl Guides, Keep Fit, Yoga and Parochial Church Council
