The Charity's objectives are to promote the conservation of wildlife including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and all kinds of plant together with the environment forming their habitat; to promote the study of, knowledge of, and interest in all such wildlife; all within the county of Cumbria.

The Sloth Conservation Foundation (SloCo) is dedicated to saving sloths in the wild through research and conservation initiatives. Such conservation strategies include:Education programs in local communities,Re-insulating power lines,Planting forest corridors to connect fragmented habitats,Construction of wildlife bridges across major roads,Scientific research.

The Charity's objects are to advance education for the benefit of the public in particular but without limitation by supporting schools and teachers to deliver education using nature and the natural environment. The Charity is registered as a charity in England and Wales.

The only city farm in Wales, we reconnect people of all ages, backgrounds & abilities with their food, their environment & their local community through unique & exciting educational, volunteering, training & play opportunities. Our fully accessible site demonstrates a range of sustainability & nature conservation management techniques & hosts a range of rare & rare-Welsh breed farm animals

Collection & recycling of furniture and household electrical goods to assist people on low incomes and to donate goods to those in dire need.

To combat violations of human rights; to promote prison reform within the United Kingdom; to oppose extinction of the world's fauna and flora and destruction of the environment.

Initiative Earth Charity enables people to restore ecosystems and revive communities around the world by providing online learning and educational resources around climate and systems change; practical ecosystem restoration skills; networking opportunities for change-makers worldwide and generation of support for grassroots initiatives. We operate remotely from various locations in the UK.

THE CHARITY OPERATES THE THAMESIDE NATURE PARK, WHICH IS FORMED OF RECLAIMED LANDFILL FOR THE CONSERVATION OF WILDLIFE AND SUSTAINABILITY OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

There are millions of bikes lying rusting in garages or being thrown away in the UK. Meanwhile, in the Africa, a 4-hour daily walk is common (water, school, farm, market). Re~Cycle collects second hand bikes & parts & ships them to Africa, where partners teach local people how to repair & maintain them, helping them to improve their own lives in a sustainable manner.

The Reuse Network is the umbrella group for organisations involved in the relief of poverty through the re-use of household items. We work to increase goods available, raise the number of beneficiaries and support organisations to manage and develop. We lobby to ensure that legislation and funding benefits the sector.

The trust makes donations to bodies embracing a wide range of charities, the main fields supported being medical and health, welfare in the community, environment and wildlife, and church and heritage, with special reference to charities based in, or with branches in the Lancashire area.

Our object is to advance education of children up to age 14 by supplying books to those that would not otherwise be able to afford them, and by creating sustainable reading communities amongst targeted groups through the provision of regular inclusive book gifting events. Also to advance public education about environmental matters related to re-use & recycling of pre-loved children's books.

1) In developing countries we plant trees and support sustainable living to prevent poverty, protect wildlife and absorb CO2, a main cause of climate change. 2) We explain climate issues and promote 'living better on low carbon' to encourage action.3) We show how core Christian values imply concern about climate change. We work in partnerships and do not restrict those who benefit.

We work with expert conservationists to create and expand Rhino Strongholds; ecosystems where sustainable populations of rhino and other critically endangered wildlife can thrive. By protecting the rhino and conserving their natural habitat we are securing rich biodiverse environments for the long-term and helping local communities to benefit and prosper from their natural heritage

Improving the state of the River Aire and its tributaries, educating the public and other bodies about the water environment and improving/promoting access to same,

We make stories to help the public understand the importance of biodiversity, and to take action to help.

Promote the benefits of the inhabitants of the London Borough of Greenwich, especially the Woolwich Riverside LOCAL ward to provide affordable hall and room hire to local groups who service the community and work in partnership with the local authorities and communities on various community development projects.

Hounslow Community Transport provides the following services:- A fleet of minibuses with wheelchair access for hire by not-for-profit organisations- Hounslow Furniture Recycling Project which collects donated furniture and houshold appliances that are then sold at low prices to people in need- The Shopmobility service based in the Blenheim Centre in Hounslow

The Trust has set up, established and is managing a facility for the advancement of community development and environmental improvement. It promotes volunteering for the benefit of the communities local to the community facility. It promotes the conservation, protection and improvement of the natural environment of the community facility and its open land.

KCU (Kettering Community Unit) is a community support charityproviding the following -Free training and education courses to support people into employment or to improve their quality of life -Furniture re-cycling, low cost household goods to those in need via our charity shops-Food bank operations to support those in food poverty Our ethos is that everyone in our community matters .

The Charity has as its main concerns the advancement of education, health, the saving of lives and the conservation of the environment.

The Bitou Trust is dedicated to assisting disadvantaged communities and advancing sustainable development and conservation within the Bitou region of the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Situated in the heart of the UNESCO Garden Route Biosphere Reserve, the Bitou municipal area covers 992 square kms within one of the most diverse biodiversity hot spots on the planet.

The ownership provision and preservation of Horsell Common and other commons and open spaces for informal recreation and enjoyment of the public at large, the protection of the environment for future generations and the protection and management of habitats for all flora and fauna living on such commons and open spaces.
