Engaging local people, and young people in particular, in enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings for the benefit of the community, the land and its wildlife, including conservation research and work, community events, education and recreation opportunities, volunteer groups, participation of local community, particularly young people, in decision making and practical development work.

By making grants and raising awareness: community capacity building to help the disadvantaged Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian community in South Eastern Europe (SEE) to meet their own needs and participate more fully; relief of poverty in disadvantaged communities in SEE; promotion of protection of the environment; advance education in SEE, generally and in the traditional folk cultures of the region.

The charity owns and operates woodland at Wood Norton Evesham.The objects of the charity are:To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation,protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by re-establishing trees,plants and wildlife.The woodland is available to voluntary groups to benefit from the woodland environment with the permission of the Trustees.

The charity's mission is to acquire, or secure long-term access to, land in and around Histon & Impington and enable this to be managed for these twin purposes: nature conservation and the community experiencing nature for their enjoyment, health and wellbeing. The first sites for these purposes are Long Meadow and Croft Close Nature Reserve, collectively known as Abbey Fields.

Conservation/preservation of the hedgehogs. Care and attention by providing a rescue, care and rehabilitation service for sick, injured, or orphaned hedgehogs with the aim of releasing such hedgehogs back into the wild wherever possible. Study of hedgehogs and in the care, methods of treatment, conservation and habitat of hedgehogs.

The LOHP is a voluntary, community project dedicated to the restoration of the important wildlife and landscape of the fens and heaths of the upper Little Ouse Valley. Although biodiversity conservation is at the heart of our work, we aim to achieve this in a way that both engages and benefits the local community.

Manhood Wildlife and Heritage care for various habitats across the Manhood Peninsula where wildlife can flourish. Some sites are home to rare species, others form a network of rich and diverse habitats, which are managed by local volunteers. Also the relief of unemployment including the provision of opportunities in the refurbishment of bicycles through practical work.

London Waterkeeper defends rivers and challenges polluters. All of London's rivers are failing - being damaged by road run-off, sewage and too often ignored.London Waterkeeper seeks to use the law to target polluters, highlight pollution where it happens and outline the solutions needed to make our rivers healthy.

The Cibus Foundation promotes ecosystem restoration and sustainable development by funding scientific research, education, health and nature-based solutions across all aspects of our food system. It awards grants to organisations working on biodiversity, soil and water, health, regenerative agriculture, better food and public access to nature.

Helping people experiencing loneliness and social exclusion by providing volunteering and employment opportunities through the preservation of historic wooden canal boats, boat recycling trips and a charity shop. Offering wellbeing breaks for disadvantaged people and those with depression or mental illness. Preserving traditional boat building skills and the heritage surrounding these boats.

The Pangolin Project CIO supports the activities of the Pangolin Project in Kenya which is dedicated to the conservation of the pangolin, an animal in danger of extinction primarily from illegal poaching. THe objectives of the PP are:1. To build knowledge and awareness 2. To identify and implement proven protection strategies3. To develop protocols to respond to reports of illegal activity.

To conserve, protect and rehabilitate the habitat and waters that constitute the River Thames catchment, for the benefit of all indigenous species (including Atlantic salmon and migratory trout).To advance the education of the public in the understanding of river environments on watercourses throughout the River Thames catchment.

PROJECTS DESIGNED TO REDUCE SOUTH LAKELAND'S OVERALL GREENHOUSE GASEMISSIONS AND DEPENDENCE ON FOSSIL FUELS; SUPPORT KENDAL AND DISTRICT AS A TRANSITION TOWN E.G. BY ACTIVELY WORKING TO INCREASE ITS RESILIENCE AS A TOWN AND DISTRICT; RECENT PROJECTS HAVE INCLUDED PROMOTION OF CYCLING, ENERGY EFFICIENCY, LOCAL FOOD PRODUCTION. THERE IS A MIX OF EDUCATION AND CAMPAIGNING ACTIVITIES.

Great Ouse Rivers Trust works for the protection and enhancement of the River Great Ouse and its catchment. The Trust does this through activities that support conservation, protection and enhancement of the river and its catchment and through the advancement of public education, engagement and awareness raising.

Pretty Pleats Ltd supports families experiencing poverty and financial hardship through the sale ofmassively discounted new and/or repurposed goods.The objectives of the charity as stated in the Memorandum and Articles of Association: The preventionand relief of financial hardship, in particular but not exclusively by the recycling of school uniforms andother items.

Provide a parish hall with kitchen and stage for rental by anyone within the parish for the provision of meetings, lectures, classes and parties. There is also an enclosed, grassed field with a play area, wildlife garden and picnic tables.
