Deddington Windmill Community Centre provides sports and recreational facilities for a wide range of organisations, groups and individuals in the parish of Deddington and beyond. It caters for the needs of both young and old and is a regularly used part of the social scene in Deddington. It aims to be a leader, locally, in energy conservation sourced from renewables.

1) To promote the re-use of surplus or redundant church bells.2) Giving of grants for the provision of bells or bell restoration.3) To promote research into the sound of church bells and the methods emploed in retuning.4) The provision of funding of ringing centres for the training of bell-ringers.

SOS Kit Aid is an award winning charity that collects second hand/new rugby kit from UK schools, clubs, kit manufacturers and recycles it to disadvantaged youngsters in over 60 countries. Since 2001 we have sent 8 million pounds of kit for 250,000 disadvantaged youngsters.Sponsored mainly by World Rugby.We have also saved over 1500 tonnes CO2 emissions too by recycling.

The organisation advances the protection of the natural environment by supporting frontline conservation rangers to undertake protection of wildlife in their natural habitat. Without these rangers there is no wildlife protection or conservation of any species in these areas. The Thin Green Line Foundation UK (TGLF UK) will support Rangers in areas of high conservation value.

Manage nature reserves and public education.

The charity's main function has been fundraising. During this accounting year we have had various events such as discos, coffee morning, bingo & quiz, film night, clothes recycling, Summer fayre, making Christmas cards and various raffles.

Supports primarily British bee-related research projects of benefit to beekeeping and broader bee science. Some priority is given to work on bee diseases but not limited to honey bees. Supports and encourages young bee scientists through research studentships and travel bursaries.

Activities involve making grants for general purposes though with an interest in Guensey based charities and in nature and wildlife conservation.

We had numerous events to raise money, such as Disco's,Quiz night, Easter fair & summer fair, raffles, capture u photography session, blue bags to school, Xmas shopping evening, 100 club, recycling and Bingo.

The charity's objectives are to manage and enhance the Stiffkey Wildlife Reserve in Norfolk.

The Besom in Witney helps individuals and church groups to give their time, money, skills, or things and ensures that these reach local individuals and families in a time of need. We positively recycle good quality household items such as furniture, textiles, kitchenalia, good-as-new children's clothing, baby items and toys and pass these onto peope who need them. We also accept gifts of food.

Artists' project earth aims to help create a better world by bringing the power of music and the arts to 21st century challenges. It supports effective projects and awareness raising initiatives to combat climate change and raises funds for natural disaster relief.

Our activities, carried out in Blewbury village and surrounding area, are to advance the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and the prudent use of resources for the benefit of the public through education of the public, promotion, awareness raising and skill sharing to build community resilience to combat climate change and resource scarcity

Makes grants in areas determined by Trustees from time to time. Current focus is on the intersection between climate change and social justice in low income countries.

St Margaret's in Ruins Conservation Trust conserves the historic Norman-era ruins of St Margaret's Church in West Raynham, Norfolk. We promote heritage preservation, biodiversity, education, and community engagement, ensuring the site's sustainability as a valued cultural and environmental asset.

The objects of the Institute are to advance the education of the public in the protection of the environment in the continent of Europe and in all forms of national and international policy relating thereto, and to carry out research and enquiry into all aspects of the environment and environmental policy. Objects are achieved by research, advisory services, reports, conferences, website etc

The Charitys objects are to advance the education of the public about the preservation of our world's natural environment, ecological sustainability, natural resource conservation, waste minimisation, recycling and the principles of fair trade, within Wirral and surrounding area.'

The charity receives donations from fundraising activities carried out by volunteers. Funds raised are applied in support of individuals and charities in the local community and projects of Lions International. The charity undertakes work in the field of sight conservation, recycling spectacles for use in developing countries.

THE FUND DISTRIBUTES GRANTS TO LOCAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS SEEKING TO REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS OR TACKLE FUEL POVERTY IN THE DEFINED AREAS. APPLICATIONS FROM PROJECTS IN THE VICINITY OF BATH & WEST COMMUNITY ENERGY (BWCE) PROJECTS ARE PARTICULARLY WELCOME. BWCE DONATES ITS SURPLUS PROFITS TO THE FUND, GENERATED FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS COMMUNITY OWNED RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.
