Biodiversity and Environmental Education Society (BEES) charity is offering the UK's first comprehensive nature guide training course. The course will be taught outdoors and online covering topics in natural and human sciences. We aim to open broadly to the adult public and minimise cost to participants. It will run initially in Suffolk and Norfolk, with accredited nature guide certification.

PACE Manningtree volunteers carry out environmental conservation actions and projects in the wider Manningtree area which tackle climate change and biodiversity loss such as tree planting, electric cargo bikes, community solar energy schemes, water quality work, wildlife gardening, allotments, local food initiatives. Volunteers run education activities and workshops in the local community, schools

Our main activity is the help the Essex Ranger Service to carry out conservation tasks. We are also involved in carrying out wildlife surveys. These include butterflies, newts, dragonflies, bats and wild flowers to name a few.We also work with Essex County Council on the Parish Paths Partnership (P3). Here we ensure PROW are well signed and accessible to the public.

The object of the Teazle Wood Trust CIO is to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of woodland known as Teazle Wood in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The society is the local amenity society for Southwick promoting good standards of planning, protection of the environment and local heritage, and public interest in these matters. It has a lease on the Manor Cottage which it runs as a local heritage centre.

Weekly meeting where a range of activities are undertaken, including sports, arts & crafts and theme evenings (ie pancake making for Shrove Tuesday and fireworks for November 5th). Combeposters runs a green waste recycling scheme in Combe Martin, North Devon. We collect green garden waste from local residents and produce compost and related products. The products are distributed back into the local community. We recruit and train volunteers to operate the scheme. We use income generated by the scheme to fund local community groups.

We buy unproductive land to create community woodland and wild spaces, to increase biodiversity and benefit wildlife and people. We run work parties, educational, artistic and social events. We work closely with our local primary school to give all pupils experience of this work and ensure sustainability. We are the parish Tree Wardens and plant and maintain trees and hedges in our village.
