To promote the study and enjoyment of all wildlife and to disseminate the knowledge of natural history. Between October and March a fortnightly series of illustrated lectures is arranged Field meetings are held regularly in the Summer. Group recorders for the various orders collate and verify records. Annual reports are issued. The society manages a location for the benefit of wildlife
