Environment Charities

The objectives of the charity are to tackle gender based inequality and gender based violence. to promote humane behaviour towards animals, to promote conservation,, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and to advance such charitable purposes as the trustees see fit with regard, but not limited to, the above by way of grants and rewards

Assisting in the collection and preservation of wildlife sounds and aiding research and education by making collections accessible to both specialists and the general public.

Conservation of endangered species and their habitats as well as the promotion and encouragement of careers in wildlife conservation

Created as one of the Millennium Greens, the park is an area of natural space within the city. It is managed by the community, for the community and its visitors. The park provides a mixture of wildlife habitats with paths, seating, viewing platform and a community performance area. There are also fruit trees, soft fruit bushes and a herb garden for the community to take advantage of.

Protection of wildlife & environment

To provide a green space for quiet recreation and promote the conservation, protection and improvementof the natural environment of Community Orchard Week for public benefit and wellbeing.

We continue to raise funds principally by selling or recycling donated pre-owned books, DVDs, CDs and LPs. Our charitable work is concentrated mainly on local projects but we also support a limited number of international charities, some of which are organised by Lions Club International and some by our own contacts.

(1)The study of Natural History, Geology and Archaeology. (2)The collection of information concerning topography, field paths. natural and archaelogical features of Darlington District and Teesdale including compilation of lists of recent fossils, fauna and flora.(3) The preservation of characteristic plants and animals of the district.

Nawton and Beadlam Millennium Wildlife Garden was created as a joint village project to mark the year 2000. A wildlife garden was created on a donated piece of land. The garden includes a large pond, woodland area and a wide selction of plants native to North Yorkshire. The garden is freely accessible to the public. The garden is managed and maintained by a team of local volunteers.

We manage a community woodland project for the benefit of the public. Our activities involve: providing and improving access; conserving and enhancing biodiversity; providing interpretation facilities and educational opportunities on the woodland and its wildlife; and engaging volunteers in working in the woodland and running the project.

Promote conservation and biodiversity improvement of agricultural/amenity land in North Cornwall. Provide public benefit and education by allowing access to land where such is possible. Monitoring of local water vole and mink populations and maintained public access to Kilkhampton Common.

To promote the conservation protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment for the public benefit, in particular through: the planting of flowers, trees, shrubs and plants in publicly accessible meadowland in the Fenland area of Cambridgeshire with the aim of increasing biodiversity and promoting conservation of species including hedgehogs

The preservation and safeguarding what is good in the character of the Upper Itchen Valley. The protection of the area from actions which may be detrimental to the amenities and scenic beauty of its rural character.The discouragement of undesirable destruction and disturbance of wildlife.The encouragement of the preservation of historic buildings of special interest.

To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in such parts of the UK and the world as the trustees shall determine by undertaking initiatives to remove plastic from the marine environment and coastal hinterland;To advance education for the public benefit in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

Relieve poverty, sickness and distress or people from socially and economically disadvantaged communities,to provide funding build schools, health centres etc,support poor people financially to set up their trade, and support the community get involved in reforestation, recycling, irrigation.etc

Conservation activities include maintenance of Westgate Parks wild flower meadow, physic garden, river banks and wildlife pond, and monitoring river-flies and butterflies. Education includes river and bat walks, archaeological digs, and forest school activities for children and adults. Research on biodiversity and archaeology is facilitated. Fund-raising activities are undertaken in support.

The purpose of establishing the charity is to restore, manage, promote and celebrate this ancient orchard and its wildlife for the public benefit. Our aim is to engage the community in achieving that aim and to rely on voluntary contributions and other fundraising efforts to fund our activities including site management, education, community engagement, fruit harvesting, communication.

Creating & maintaining a nature reserve for the protection & preservation of land, flora & fauna.

Management of church land and related investments

1) To preserve and enhance local sites of historic or architectural importance inthe area of Halstead, Essex for the public benefit.2) To advance the education of the public on the subject of local heritage, and the natural environment of Halstead, Essex.3) To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvementof the physical and natural environment.

Floral Angels recycles donated flowers from florists, event managers, hotels and retailers and give to those in need in the form of bouquets of kindness, in the community. We educate the public in the benefits of recycling and reuse of donated flowers by holding floral workshops and demonstrations in the art and skill of flower arranging and restyling. We are a floral charity.

Manages millfield in the village of Eynsford, Kent. This was acquired to protect it in perpetuity for the benefit of the villagers and wildlife.

Research and provision of renewable energy systems for education and small-scale manufacture (developing world). Providing Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) facilities to education establishments. Working to provide accessible digital tools for learning in communities.

Working around the town of Pudsey we aim to promote and encourage for the public benefit in the community, the development & provision of safe routes, paths and facilities for cycling, walking and other forms of low energy transport and to undertake and carry out projects and activities of a charitable nature which will assist in promoting healthy recreation and the protection of the environment.

HAWTHORNE PARK TRUST EXISTS TO DEVELOP AND OVERSEE A PARK WITHIN THE BUILT UP AREA OF THORNTON. ONCE AN ILL DRAINED FIELD, THE TRUST IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHERS HAS CREATED A COMMUNITY PARK AND WILDLIFE AREA FOR ALL RESIDENTS WITH PATHS, LIGHTING, SEATS AND FACILITIES BOTH FOR CHILDREN'S PLAY AND OLDER TEENAGERS. THE TRUST HOLDS A 50 YEAR LEASE.
