Our charitable purpose is protection of the environment - to be someone, somewhere who does something to help. to make a differene to our planet to benefit all animals and mankind.

Conservation work in the Poldice Valley, assisting students in undertaking studies of the flora, fauna and contamination within the valley.

To have small wildlife sanctuaries which are close enough to enable beetles, bumble bees, and other invertebrates, birds, reptiles and small animals to use them as stepping stones between areas of protected natural habitat so as to preserve genetic diversity.

Forestry, ecology, biodiversity research and enhancement

All Things Small and Green promotes native afforestation for the benefit of the public for the general improvement of land or of the environment, and as a means to combat global warming. The charity also promotes the conservation and enhancement of the natural forested environment and the advancement of public education through carbon mitigation projects.

Used by local residents as a recreational area Whitehead Hall Meadow is kept as natural as possible but there is a formal area at its centre. A pond, constructed footpaths and desire lines through the site are provided with seating areas where people can rest or sit and chat. The aim of the trustees has been to try to increase the biodiversity of the site while maintaining all year round access.

To conserve restore and re-establish trees plants and all forms of wildlife and thereby to secure and enhance the enjoyment by the public of Hardings Wood

The Relief of poverty and sickness and the preservation and protection of good health by the provision of clean water and advice on sanitation, hygiene and the prevention, mitigation and cleaning up of water, air and ground pollution. The promotion of public education in all matters relating to water pollution and in the impact of water quality on human health;

The Peckham Coal line will be a public park. The CIO was formed to deliver the park through community engagement, offering opportunities in training, work, events & volunteering in areas such as horticulture, nature conservation, creativity, food & music. Intrinsic to the concept is inclusion & common ownership. The CIO forms a decision making group to steer the stakeholders.

The Belage Trust aims to:(a) Advance the education of the public in the subject of IT(b) Promote the mental and emotional health of people (c) Help to remove barriers to educational advancement among young people in this country(d) Encourage small arts organisations in the community(e) Promote conservation of the environment for the benefit of the public

The promotion of works of art for educational use concerning recycling & sustainability and mathematics & geometry.

The Friends of Culcheth Linear Park aim to improve and promote the facilities, plants and wildlife within the Park and provide opportunities for educational and recreational activities. We want to improve and enrich the health and surroundings of present and future visitors to the Park of all ages and abilities. The promotion for the benefit of the public of the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of Richmondshire, in particular by:a) Raising awareness of the causes and impact of climate change, andb) Encouraging individuals and communities to take practical steps to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide to minimise their impact upon climate change

Providing people with disabilities and their carers with the opportunity to ride, carriage drive and be with horses as a means to access countryside and the natural environment for their health and well-being.

Grants towards: preserve and protect the planet and its wildlife, target specific projects with clear outcomes that the Trustees can assess and monitor, assist smaller charities, societies, parish councils or schools with particular projects. Larger schemes may be considered if the specific project is considered appropriate.

For the public benefit to record, and study places and objects of Ornithological, Entomological, Botanical, Zoological, Geological, Archaeological or Scientific interest or of natural of scenic beauty, and to protect these from injury, ill treatment or destruction.

To: -Educate and inform the public about nature, wildlife, food & nutrition. -Teach people how to grow healthy nutritious food -Enhance health & wellbeing through access to true nature-Provide habitat for indigenous wildlife to help reverse species extinction -Research gardening techniques with the potential to restore soil health and store atmospheric carbon to mitigate climate change

The DPA works for the protection and enhancement of the landscape, antiquities, flora and fauna, and cultural heritage of Dartmoor. It protects public access, opposes inappropriate development and supports traditional hill farming practices. It provides opportunities for members to gain greater understanding of the moorland environment and to undertake conservation work.

Nature Conservation

Conservation charity.

The Trust provides education and training in the field of conservation, and the protection of the environment.

Dormant - charity ceased its activities 31 March 2011and the responsibility for the management of Moulton Marsh Nature Reserve was transferred to the parent company, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.

The Galahad Trust owes an area of cliff edge land between the coastal footpath and high water mark from Pentargon Bay and Firebeacon Point North Cornwall, 4 fig map ref: SS 1092. This area is rich in wildlife both fauna and flora and is completely undisturbed by human activity. No conservation work is carried out and the nature of the land means that access is dangerous.

To fundraise and provide support for the pupils and their families at Riverside School, a school for pupils with a wide range of severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Many of our pupils also have autistic spectrum disorder and some have complex medical needs.
