The Hope Centre provide's and hosts community based activities. It has a designated prayer room and counselling facilities. The centre is where representatives from the 39 churches in the area come together to meet and discuss community based projects. The purpose of the centre is to meet the needs of the local community, We want to build up community cohesion and increase the number of activities that we provide for the local community. These are weekly OAP meals weekly youth groups, mom's and carers groups twice weekly, craft sessions, dementia cafe', bereavement hub, homeless families in need. The Centre is attached to Excel Church Bilston.

We continue to expand our children/youth work/all-age events. We hold youth sports and training sessions (10-20+), drop-in cafe, Mother/Toddler group, kids club, youth clubs, dance/music sessions/workshops, residentials, in addition to various community events throughout the year. We hope to extend our social action and detached/outreach work with youth.in the community.

We run Sunday services for all ages, for prayer, Bible teaching and worship. We hold midweek small groups for prayer and Bible study, and groups for those who want to investigate Christianity. We run a regular coffee shop, and a toddler group. We run other social events and activities, and we help needy individuals in the locality.

The charity provides boxing, gym and recreational fitness facilities for the benefit of the public along with organised fitness and boxing classes for children, adults and families. The charity operates a peer support recovery group, a cafe with communal breakfasts and provides services such as drop-in, a benefits advice service, volunteering opportunities and is registered with England Boxing.

St. Catherine's Community Association continues to actively promote a wide range of activities for all ages within the local area using the Community Centre as their base. Some of these activities are 'In-house' and others in partnership with local and national providers.The Community Cafe is open weekdays from 10am till 2pm, and longer on activity days. Catering can be organised for events.

Watchet Baptist Church exists to live out the doctrines of the Christian faith for the benefit of the community at large. We meet to worship in a local school twice a moth and hold community activities at our town centre building, The Sanctuary, including community meals, warm spaces, dementia cafe, writing group, photography club, games group. We also allow community use of our building free.

C.A.N.E. run a community centre offering a wide range of activities for people to attend. It runs a coffee shop and organises events such as quizes, table top sales and an annual summer fete for people to enjoy.

The historic Turk's Head is fully restored and kept in good condition. A cafe is open 7 days a week and upstairs is workspace. The charity uses the rental income to support community activities in the area.We organise an annual event for the whole community in mid summer and work on the creation of community assets. We plan to restore Wapping's river stairs and build a lido in Shadwell Basin

The Association seeks to provide and co-ordinate projects and activities to benefit the local Ward. Currently, it runs a small subsidised cafe, two charity shops and puts on activities such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Quizzes a Christmas Fayre where presents are donated to children and operates coach trips for children, pensioners and residents.

The Whinnies Community Garden is situated in Sunniside, Gateshead, we are open to the public 1st April to 31st October, 12.30/4.30. Entry to the Garden is free and the garden is accessible to all including those with disabilities. We have a cafe where refreshments can be bought, along with freshly picked fruit, vegetables and flowers.

We are a community facility that provides recreational & training facilities for local inhabitants and for specific groups, club & societies including:- Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, Indoor Bowls, Football, Gardening Club, History Group, Parish Council Meetings and also for private parties. As of Jan 2023, we also have a Community Cafe with good parking and high speed broadband/internet access.

Maintains & administers village hall for use by local people as a social and community centre. Is already used on a regular basis by indoor bowls club, dance classes, the local junior football and Tae Quando Group. Many locals use the hall for various types of parties and other activities. We will also be running a pop-up cafe a few days a week to increase community engagement from Summer 2022.

The charity manages and maintains the hall as a community asset for use by the residents of Spencers Wood. We aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation. We provide support for people affected by dementia, other memory problems, and social isolation. We run fortnightly pop-up cafes in Sowerby Bridge and in Halifax at which we offer a varied programme of games, crafts, information, support, cakes and conversation. Our volunteer team run craft sessions, play games, serve refreshments and chat.

RASCAL is a group made up of volunteers, that work in partnership with the communities First team and other service providers to help improve the lives of Somerton residents. The Centre delivers: GP Referral, Youth Clubs, boxing sessions, Dancing, Drama, Parenting groups, Bingo, PCSO Surgery, Food Co-op, community cafe, Poker, workshops, IT courses, sporting and youth sessions.
