The charity's aim is to give the local inhabitants the benefit of a community centre where a diverse range of activities is provided, including the pre-school/nursery, the koi karp society, karate, yoga and a fitness class.

Provide a Hall and facilities as our village's home for all kinds of activities and events. Large lawn area enables outdoor events in good weather. It is busy but hire fees do not fully cover outgoings so the Committee also run fund raising events such as a monthly Village Market, Allotments and Film shows. Also we house local and general elections and the local emergency centre.

We provide a clean safe community centre, with disable access, a disabled toilet complete with baby changing facility, and an adjoining open field containing a youth shelter, basketball net, a football practice wall, a football pitch, cricket square, and two tennis courts with floodlights, which are available for use by all sectors of the community.

Activities for the local community including many with a youth focus 6 days of the week particularly concentrating on week day evenings. Also large women's groups of Somali and Bangladeshi ethnic origin, Tai Chi, Ball Room Dance, patchwork, Zumba, and heritage events for all associated with this internationally known centre. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Buckland ward, in Dover, and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex, political, religious, or other opinions by working with partners and the inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation to improve the quality of life of said inhabitants.

The Trustees of Chearsley Village Hall manage and maintain the hall in order to help provide a community space which can be used by all members of the local community.

The Community Centre is available for all different Activities which include Bowls, Whist,Line Dancing,Keep Fit Classes and pre school it is also available for weekend hire for functions such as Weddings and birthday parties. We also have a meeting room.

St Andrews Community Centre within walking distance of a large local estate, next to the local Primary School.The Centre has a small facility but is well used by childrens activities, Pilates and Yoga groups, WW and Womens Institute meetings and Karate, for local community groups and children party hire.

The Community Centre provides low cost accomodation in support of clubs and activities run for the benefit of residents of the parish.

Stanney Grange Community Centre is on Stanney Grange housing estate. The Community centre is available for one off and regular community activities run by the community for the community.

Youth and Community Centre with Sports Hall with facilities such as badminton, squash, indoor football, basketball, community and arts facilities including conference and celebration activities particularly in support of community voluntary youth work.

WE RAISE FUNDS TOWARD THE UPKEEP OF THE BUILDING IN VARIOUS WAYS. WE HIRE OUT OUR MAIN HALL, OTHER MAIN FORMS OF INCOME COMES FROM ANNUAL EVENTS SUCH AS A CARNIVAL.

Promoting the wellbeing of local residents and managing the maintenance, improvement and hiring of the local community centre.

The following groups meet at the community centre indoor bowls / pre school / drama group / wives group / 50 plus group / thursday afternoon club / good companions / flower club & flower arranging club / T.W.G. We also hold concerts / craft fayre / spring fayre.

We run a Community Hall which accommodates a variety of clubs and associations including; Derby Sketching Club, Derby Ramblers Association, Derby and District Fuchsia Society, International Friendship League, Littleover Historical Society, Cabaret Theatre Dance, Slimming World. We also accommodate various individual groups. Also hosting our own Horticultural Show and Littleover in Bloom.

The charity offers a range of sporting and leisure activities. It seeks to help & provide facilities for young people, elderly, people with disabilities and socially disadvantaged.

Forden Pre-school Playgroup Association is an English-medium setting providing pre-school education. It meets in the community centre of the village of Forden between Welshpool and Montgomery. The Association runs sessions five mornings per week in term time, the Playgroup runs on Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri mornings and the Toddler Group on Thurs morning.
