Community centre (village hall) in Wing, Rutland maintained for the Wing Community and used principally for village activities and events and for activities and events of third parties. The charity raises funds and hires the hall to provide funds for the maintenance and management of the village hall for the benefit of the Wing Community.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the local and surrounding area by the establishment of and maintenance/management of our community centre for associated activities.

THE CENTRE IS HIRED BY LOCAL GROUPS ON A PERMANENT BASIS WHICH IS ROTATED BETWEEN THE VARIOUS GROUPS. WHEN THE CENTRE IS AVAILABLE IT IS ALSO HIRED TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY FOR PARTIES, BAND PRACTICE, DANCE PRACTICE ETC. THE LOCAL GP PRACTICE ALSO USES THE FACILITY FOR MASS VACCINATION PROGRAMMES.

The Association provides within its premises (the Breech Lane Community Centre) low cost accommodation for local groups' regular and occasional use thereby providing opportunities for local residents to meet together and share common interests. It is a popular venue for children's parties, the meeting place of the Village Forum and is the local Polling Station.

The Charity provides meeting accommodation for a whole range of local community activities, including social, educational and keep fit activities. It is particularly interested in providing a place for disabled and hard to reach groups to meet. It also provides for local groups to hire the hall at reasonable rates for their own activities.

TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY SERVICE THAT FULFILS NEEDS OF THE LOCAL DEPRIVED CHILDREN AND FAMILIESTO FOCUS ON ERADICATING POVERTY, DISADVANTAGE AND PROVIDING YOUNG PEOPLE AND CHILDREN A SAFE PLACE TO LEARN, PLAY AND DEVELOP LIFE-LONG SKILLSPROVISION OF A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE, ADULTS AND OAPS AT OUR COMMUNITY CENTRE IN BIRMINGHAM.

The Charity is responsible for the running and maintenance of the Whitton Community Centre which serves a rural community.

The community centre is hired out - private parties and social activities, including exercise classes, tai chi groups, slimming world, brownies, archery. slow theatre, line dancing, keep fit, art groups, meeting place for over 60's and is also used as a polling station during elections.

Maintain a village hall entitled Llangors Youth and Community Centre

Hire of hall to the general public and local councils. Monday sequence dance, Monday walkers, S Teale School of Dance, over 60's club, craft club, yoga, taekwondo, drainage board meetings, women's institute, computer club, keep fit, polling station.Reduce social isolation in the community, hold a Christmas party for over 65 and other community events.

The Grotton Residents Association run and manage the community centre known as The Pavilion in the village of Grotton. We hold annual events including a gala, Christmas fayre and bonfire but mainly the centre is used by local groups and organisation including - a pre-school group, a table tennis group, a knitting group, a wine circle as well as being available to hire for children's parties.

This charity exists to provide a venue for other organisations within and without the two villages to use. It also arranges social events most of which also raise funds for the running of the community centre and recreation ground.

Educational and Recreational Activities

TO RUN AND MAINTAIN THE VILLAGE HALL.PROVIDE A PLACE WHERE PARISHIONERS AND OTHER PEOPLE, OF WHATEVER BACKGROUND OR RELIGION, CAN MEET ON A REGULAR OR NON- REGULAR BASIS. WE ALSO SUPPORT THE FORMATION OF NEW ORGANISATIONS, SOCIETIES, CLUBS ETC. AND IN PARTICULAR TRY TO ENCOURAGE THESE ENTITIES TO PROVIDE A FRAMEWORK TO INTRODUCE YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THEIR ACTIVITIES.

To provide and maintain a village hall for use of the inhabitants of the parish of Bolton-Le-Sands and surrounding district, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. Used for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants and hirers of the centre.

Support over 50's and disabled group, local brownies, first steps, NHS blood donor sessions, keep fit and dancing classes. Wild life trust, town twinning meetings and surgeries for Amber Valley Borough Council.

The charity provides financial assistance to the poor and needy residents of the parish of Gnosall, particularly the elderly but also children and young people. This assistance has included donations to nominated families and local charitable organisations including: Community Centre, Over 60's Club, First Responders, Voluntary Car Scheme, and Gnosall Parish Church.

Provision of a public hall and meeting rooms.

The Centre caters for such organisations as Scouts & Guides,Youth Clubs,Bowling,Playgroup,Garden Club, W.I., Golden Link,Gymnastics, Yoga, Badminton etc. as well as social events such as parties, concerts, Bingo etc.We try to provide facilities and opportunities for all age groups to enjoy.
