The aims of Cleator Moor Youth and Community Centre is to provide a community facility for recreation and leisure time providing social welfare for the area. We run Mottram Community Centre, which is an old Grade II listed building, in the village of Mottram-in -Longdendale, in Greater Manchester. We take care of the building and hire out the Centre to the local community and beyond. We take regular or one-off bookings from various organisations, from both the voluntary and private sector.

The charity's purposes are to promote the benefit of inhabitants of Lands and Morley by providing the facilities for social welfare for recreation, leisure and education; to establish, maintain and manage a community centre for the purpose; and promote other charitable purposes as appropriate.
