The charity seeks to reopen the building, maintaining a library, freely available to residents, while also incorporating a dedicated community space and a cafe.

The company's objectives and activities are to work with the Velmore Church and the local community to open and operate the newly developed community building. The Building is run as a Community Centre.

the village hall / community centre provides facilities for diverse groups and activities, works with local groups including, library, parish council, childcare, recreation and education.

Our first priority is to renovate and adapt the building known as "Holme Village Institute". This will become the Holme Community Centre, providing an amenity for pre and post school activities, events for the village, a monthly clinic, activities for adults and the elderly, and private hire for fund raising.We envisage the use for the Centre evolving and extending in appeal over time.
