We are in the process of taking the lease on a plot of land to convert into a community garden. This work has been delayed due to the Covid-19 crisis. We are working in partnership with BBC DIY SOS to have the work completed by the end of November 2020, subject to there not being a second wave of Covid-19 and a further lockdown.

The charity is responsible for the land and buildings known as "Ditchling Village Green". A barn and the green are hired out for weddings and other events. The trustees then use the funds generated to maintain the facilities and make improvements to both the barn and green. The principle aim being to retain the area as a green space, with access for villagers to use.

The primary objectives of the charity are: THE LONG TERM PRESERVATION OF THE FOWBERRY MANSION,STABLES, GARDEN HOUSE, WOODLAND, PARKLAND & WILDLIFEFOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. PROMOTE FOR THEPUBLICBENEFIT THE APPRECIATION OF FOWBERRY AS A PLACE OFHISTORIC AND ARCHITETURAL INTEREST AND NATURAL BEAUTY

Children and young people out of school time learn basic skills in art and culture, sport and recreation, environment, conservation and heritage activities. We also welcome people with disabilities to participate.

Raises donations from private individuals and corporate sponsors, in order to make grants to conservation and education projects in and around certain national parks in Zambia,Tanzania and other countries.

Charity operates in Sandwich, Kent and surrounding area.

Monitoring and preserving the historic gardens of Norfolk

To provide community activities for residents of Penge East and the neighbourhood that provide social, leisure and educational benefits, & encourage social cohesion, neighbourliness, and the enjoyment of green space and urban nature. To manage and maintain a community centre and garden where community actvities are based, that's also available for hire.

To maintain the Glade Of Light Memorial and Gardens situated next to Manchester Cathedral as a public memorial to all those affected or lost as a result of the attack on Manchester Arena on Monday 22 May 2017.To maintain the Glade Of Light Memorial and Gardens for the use of the Citizens of Manchester and visitors to Manchester.

Safeguarding the future of Hackfall, an 18th century ''green garden''. The site contains listed structures and buildings. These are the concern of the Hackfall Trust, which was set up to forestall the likelihood of commercial development. Stakeholders came forward, namely the Landmark Trust, English Nature, two Local Authorities, and the Woodland Trust, which acquired a 999-year lease of Hackfall.

Maintenance and preservation of Woodland

The object of the charity is to prevent the poverty of children and their families,and to facilitate education in Gambia. The main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to the above,include sponsorships,the building of schools and wells, creating education centres, building vegetable gardens and teaching the families how to grow their own food and establishing feeding prgrammes.

We promote the craft and heritage of beekeeping by educating the public and training beekeepers for the improvement of husbandry; we visit schools & local events; we encourage an understanding of the benefits of our craft and the role of bees in the environment; we set up local apiaries to include the planting of trees and meadow flowers which benefits all insect pollination.

The 3rd Waltham Abbey Scout Group consist of one explorer unit (controlled by the district), two scout troops, two scout parks and two beaver colonies. The hall is also hired out to 1 girl guide section, 3 brownies sections and 1 rainbow section.
