The society reviews and comments on all planning applications in the Greenwich (SE10) area. Its volunteers actively participate in cleaning up graffiti and maintaining small 'street' gardens. Events are organised for members to explore buildings and aspects of the region. A regular newsletter keeps members up to date with relevant planning developments in the area.

THE COLLEGE OFFERS CARE AND EDUCATION TO GIRLS BETWEEN THE AGES OF THREE AND EIGHTEEN WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH. BOARDING FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE.

Income from allotment rents and given in Educational Grants to students in further education who live in the Parish. There is no age restrictions.

The Charity owns and runs to discreet areas in Hatfield as recreational fields. One site is at Birchwood Leisure Centre and has football pitches, the other site is de Havilland Grange off Cornflower Way, Hatfield and is laid out as a meadow with pathways and shrubs.

Running a community garden, involving all the local community through education, recreation and social activities

Rent-out and maintain four bungalows including the gardens for couples aged 60 years old and over.

Oakwood Park and Jesson Playing Fields is a local community green space with a range of active and passive recreation facilities. This includes a childrens play area, Multi Use Games Area, along with sports football pitches and informal seating area.

Provision of building and garden for everyone to use for quiet prayer, reflection and appropriate community activities.

Providing facilities and accommodation for local groups, who provide education and amenities

Restore, revitalise and rejuvenate the historic Gisborough Priory Woodland Gardens with local volunteers. Work with English Heritage to open Gisborough Priory to the public and allow access to the adjacent gardens. Collect and disseminate information on the gardens and priory. Hold events on and off site to raise funds and promote the site.

Fund raise for St. Rose's Stroud.Hold annual Christmas fayre. Annual garden fete. Annual classic car show.

Didcot & District U3a is a learning cooperative of older people enabling members to share educational, creative and leisure activities. This is achieved through speaker meetings,outings and interest groups. Interest groups include, maths and science, medieval calligraphy, philosophy, book reading, wine appreciation. garden group and art appreciation.

A full description of our activities is included in our annual report. Principally these are related to our educational object. Over the year we have held open volunteer garden sessions every week except winter when bi weekly) as a demonstration project and also a variety of workshops and events and seasonal topical sessions. We continued a programme of learner beds with new participants

Northcliffe Allotment Society manages allotments under an agreement with Bradford Metropolitan District Council. There are 150 allotments which are let to people living in the local area. Applications for plots can be made through our web site: https://northcliffeallotments.wordpress.com.

We operate a reclaimed victorian garden for the use of the public of Whickham, Gateshead and the surrounding areas.

Tunley Recreation Centre comprises a hall, sports field, meadow and children's play area, in all some 7 acres. Activities include dog training group, exercise classes, football club and other community events including meetings and private functions all serving a village community and the wider area.

To support our charitable object of advancing the education of older people and people no longer in full time work we currently have over 20 Interest Groups covering a wide range of subjects conducive to learning and personal development. The subjects include Art & Architecture, Book Reviews, Canasta, Creative Writing, Garden, Heritage & Cultures, Jazz, Poetry, Singing, Skittles and Walking.

The charity owns and administers an almshouse situated on Cross Keys Lane, Low Fell, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. The almshouse comprises four flats each with a bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. There is a common entrance hall and stairway, and a garden to the rear of the property. The almshouse accommodates four single residents who are of limited means.
