Restoration and maintenance of an Ancient Monument and landscape garden situated at Downton near Salisbury in Wiltshire as a leisure facility open to the public

The club is held on alternate weeks. It gives members an opportunity to play games and mix with others. The group takes part in a range of activities from bingo to arts & crafts. We have a snooker table, football table and music centre. So sometimes members boogie or just chat and join in the other activities. Drinks & snacks are provided. Washington U3A provide a list of activities for people who are retired 'but not retiring'These activities inlclude:- Digital photography and computing, family history, garden club, luncheons, ladies swimming, quiz, relaxation, pergamano, scrabble, dominoes, whist, singing, strolling, travel and walking.

Warlingham Forest Schoolers aims are to give children the opportunity to experience an inspirational, fun and holistic approach to connect to the outdoor environment. The forest school sessions will run on our very own forest school site at Chelsham Road next to Greenlawns Memorial Park CR6 9EQ.

Provision of open space parkland for the General Public

St Albans South Signal Box is a working museum bringing railway and signal history to our visitors and educating younger members of our community in the dangers of trespassing on the railway. Regular open days and group visits continued. The opportunity to extend the artifacts on display in the box and its gardens through purchases and loans means there is always something new to see for visitors.

The charity runs a community centre in Brown Edge, providing accommodation for several groups from the area. The premises are accessible and are suitable for all age groups. There are exercise, dancing and Slimming World classes; a large hall, stage and small meeting room are available to hire for events and outdoor space includes two sensory gardens.
