We run the unique Ashford Baby Memorial Garden, with over 450 name tiles for our special babies as well as baby memorial areas in Canterbury, Faversham & Sittingbourne. We undertake a considerable amount of awareness raising about baby loss and the support available to families. This includes 'Smiley Face Tombolas', talks and presentations, as well as the Wave of Light and Teddy Bear's Picnics.

We provide a specially adapted boat and respite Lodge for disabled people visiting Blakeney, North Norfolk. This allows them, their families, friends and carers to access our heritage coast and two National Nature Reserves in Blakeney Harbour and provides a base for wider engagement with nature in Norfolk. These activities successfully support our beneficiaries physical and mental wellbeing.

The conservation and enhancement of the public areas of Imperial Square Cheltenham (including Imperial Gardens), including the installation of copies of some of the original features for the benefit and enjoyment of all members of the public.

Money is raised by events such as Autumn Fayres, Garden Parties and Raffles etc. The funds are used to buy wheelchairs and other equipment such as bathroom aids and walkers, which are lent to elderly people who are need.

We stage the annual show in Glanton, Northumberland, normally on the second Saturday of August. It is a celebration of country living, a demonstration of skills in garden produce, bakery and other culinary skills, art and photography and crafting.

THE FUNCTION OF THE FRIENDS GROUP IS TO MAINTAIN, PRESERVE AND CONSERVE THE ORCHARD; BORDER AND PARTERRE PLANTING; AND LAWNED AREAS OF THESE 17TH CENTURY, AUTHENTICALLY PLANTED, RESTORED GARDENS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL. WE OPEN THE GARDENS TWICE A WEEK AND ARE INTENDING TO INCREASE THIS. WE INVOLVE THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITY, COLLEGES AND BUSINESSES IN OUR WORK.

Group based horticulture in a community garden being created out of four adjoining allotments in Norwich. Groups work on their own borders as well as on shared areas.

Cheselbourne Village Hall for the use of members of the village and the village school. Activities in the hall include daily use by the school, Gardens Club, Pre School Group and various social activities including fund raising activities.

The Charity provides sponsorship funds to a Maasai community in southern Kenya, primarily to enable high school age children to attend school and subsequently college or university. Funds are also provided for the maintenance of a borehole and drainage for a vegetable garden as well as support for a community centre to enable education and the continuance of Maasai culture.

Our Friends group exists to protect and improve Whirlow Brook Park and the surrounding woodland and waterways. Our income comes from membership fees, donations and grants and is used for: restoration of hard and soft landscaping; recreational activities for park users; and ecological and historical research. Our volunteers do most of the work, all for the benefit of the general public.

The Railside Community Garden CIO was set by local residents in Streatham SW16 in 2018 to co-ordinate the use of some unused land next to the railway, and turn it into a Community Garden. During 2019 and 2020 the RCG has successfully landscaped the area, built planters, grown a wide variety of veg, started a regular supply to a foodbank, and is establishing itself as a community asset.
