We are the Parents and Teachers Association for Avanti Gardens School. We work to strengthen relationships between staff, parents and the wider community of Fishponds. We organise fund raising activities and community gathering events. We donate the money we raise to fund activities, facilities and equipment that will enrich the education and wellbeing of the children at the school.

Maintenance and running of children's playground and upkeep of adjacent village green as well as running a community minibus.

The hall is used by various local groups as a venue for meetings and activities including badminton, exercise class, Garden and Film Clubs and Parish Council The Hall is also used as a venue for private parties, wedding receptions, funeral teas, children's parties and as a polling station. The hall is used by people of all ages from the village and surrounding areas.

PRESERVING ANCIENT WOODLAND LEASED FROM ROTHER DISTRICT COUNCIL. THE WOODLAND IS PRESERVED AND MANAGED AS A PUBLIC AMENITY.

Grants are made towards repairs and conservation of Lastingham Church, together with purchases to enhance its facilities. Activities include general education about its history and activities. Fund-raising events included the traditional Lastingham Lecture and other lectures, garden parties and concerts.

By working together with local authority, BRMG aim to develop and maintain infant memorial gardens purposely located in public spaces throughout the UK, offering the bereaved community an alternative space to commemorate the loss of their child. To support the cost of this we carry out annual fundraising and offer sponsorship opportunities.

We are a conservation charity set up to restore 76 hectares of woodland which form part of the Crown lands of the New Forest, known as Pondhead Inclosure near Lyndhurst, Hampshire. We operate under a 10 year license from the Forestry Commission and our aim is to improve the area's biodiversity and public enjoyment by management of the woodland with a team of conservation volunteers.

Denmead Brass are a community brass band based in Denmead. We perform locally at concerts, competitions, garden parties and charity events. We have a thriving training band led and assisted by current band members.

To provide a venue which can be the hub of youth services providing free activities and other support services for all - but especially young people - resident in Eastwood and the surrounding area.To develop community facilities such as parks & other community areas.

Friends of Ilkley Riverside Parks (FOIRP) work in partnership with Bradford Council. We plan Park improvements and seek to raise the necessary funding to achieve these improvements. In addition, FOIRP organise regular Work Parties throughout the year to ensure all the essential maintenance work required is carried out, where the Council no longer have the resources to ensure these are done.

The object of the charity is the advancement of education for the public benefit in the area served by Rock Road Library, in particular but not exclusively by: (a) supporting and promoting library services (b) facilitating educational, cultural and community courses, events and exhibitions in both the library and its garden (c) fostering links to educational, cultural and community organisations.

Provide open space venue for village use and activities to include PLAYGROUP + LUNCH CLUB for over 60's +LIVE PERFORMANCE + CINEMA CLUB + GARDEN CLUB + YOGA and KEEP FIT classesAlso rented out for private parties weddings etc

The PTFA organises fund raising schemes such as fun runs, school discos, school calendar etc in order to generate funds that can be spent to benefit the children of the school. Examples of where we have invested the money we have raised includes buying new books for school, a new shed and the completion of aQuiet Garden, subsidising school trips and putting in special seasonal events.

MANAGEMENT OF THE SKERNE PARK YOUTH AND COMMUNITY CENTRE, COLERIDGE GARDENS, DARLINGTON. PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL, SPORTS AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY.

The Orchard Garden is held in trust for the purposes of a recreation ground for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of Collingham and Linton.

Recreational activities for Haslemere's residents.

To provide recreational facilities to residents of DY5 and surrounding area who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

Our aim is to protect and enhance our area, its architecture, trees, parks and amenities, for present and future residents

The primary objective of the trust is to hold and utilise the trust fund for the provision and maintenance of Derrington Millennium Green for the benefit of the inhabitants of Derrington. The property is used for informal recreation, a meeting area or place for community events. A significant part of the Green's management is to encourage wildlife by leaving some areas in a more natural state.

The principal activity of the charity is to provide disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or carriage drive to benefit their health and wellbeing in the Canterbury area in particular by assisting in the provision of horses to Cobbes Meadow Riding for the Disabled Group or such other charitable entity for exclusively charitable purposes.

To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the area known as Lenham and the surrounding area in the Parish of Lenham.To provide or assist in the provision of the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for those living or working in the Parish of Lenham.

The Henleaze Sociey is an amenity group looking for ways of improving the Henleaze area so that it is a good place to live in. The Society monitors planning applications, supports local activities, finds ways of improving parks and open spaces and the local shopping centre.

Our charity continues to support requests from family's and small charities. We also support Cancer Research on a yearly basis.

Community groups work together to secure external funding for community projects and to provide help and assistance to each other on community consultation and community events. We work with Hyndburn Borough Council to secure 'Green Flag' status for our parks and as a forum for raising concerns and sharing best practice for the way our green spaces are managed.

Raising funds to provide items/activities (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority) to advance the education of the pupils of the School.
